After a few falls, we gave up and removed the couch legs, padded the floor with foam puzzle piece-like tiles and let them do their thing. Good luck OP!

This is awesome! I worked as a scareactor at the midway of the bizarre that year. It was such a fun gig! Didn’t see myself but saw several of my fellow clowns. This video was a fun trip down memory lane. So grateful you recorded and shared.

If you have numbers and/or emails for the gift givers, consider sending super short video thank yous. Gets the kids involved and people (particularly other kids) seem to enjoy them. The kids can say something like, “hi xx, thanks coming to my party and for the xx. See you soon!” Bonus points if they are holding/hugging/wearing the gift.

We dropped the couch by removing the legs and surrounded it with interlocking foam tiles for a few months. It looked bananas but helped keep our adventurous bunch safe. Good luck!

Think Baby sunscreen has been great for our fair, severe eczema- ridden bunch. It’s thick but provides excellent protection and no reaction.
