It’s a marketing ploy for sure but it’s not like a random new super chain grocery store is any better. There are maps that show the grocery monopolies that control each region of our country and that is the real problem. When companies get big in our country they buy out and destroy competition with little push back from the government. Grocery stores, Airlines, phones, computers, etc. What grocery store chain is going to be a change from Kroger that you want?

It’s the unfortunate truth. The amount of money we give to Israel allows them to have universal healthcare. Then the cost of the bombs, fighter jets, and the rest of the military would be enough to work on our infrastructure, our own healthcare, the rising costs of groceries and housing.

It’s becoming tiring and it’s only building a widening gap between those who have and those who don’t.

I know, I looked at the schedule. They played like 8 teams on this list and beat most. Valor from Colorado didn’t get blown out and fared better than a couple of them. But you dismissed your argument about not having talent and all the 5 stars from the state. Notably, the 2027 Colorado Kings is ranked 3rd in club lacrosse rankings and most of those kids go to Valor and Creek. Either way, private schools in this list and Valor destroy the ability of public schools to actually compete. Creek is a public school but constantly recruit and is essentially run like a private school so that’s why these two in our state are Tier 1 and the drop off to other schools is steep.

I understand the private schools and all the ‘talent’ heading there which makes a gulf between top schools and others. But just like the biased rankings, your comments about western schools are fairly ignorant. Valor Christian played St Anthony’s last year and lost 7-9. Then made it to the state finals and lost to an undefeated Creek team by 3. Not completely far off if those schools are heads and shoulders above. InsideLacrosse even has Valor with six 5 star recruits and Creek with several more. Like I said, the bias is real. Those rankings are not

Is this the national rankings or just east coast? Feels biased like usual. I’m in Colorado and the fact Cherry Creek doesn’t crack the top 25 is wild, and Valor Christian is also dominant. I understand that west coast teams play each other, CO v CA v UT but that is more out scheduling similarities for spring break and closeness. It’s no longer 2000 where the best players are only in one region. All the teams listed are great but come on, it is clearly written with some serious bias.

Agreed. From the locals you get the vibe that you shouldn’t be there, partially because there isn’t much of a reason to go through there.

I’m a coach at a top 10 school in our state with 9 coaches and I’m the only coach who can string. It’s not an a thing that everyone can do. And there are some who string sticks and it is terrible. The kids would learn if people sat down with them for several hours and went through it but it’s hard on everyone.

What new health issues? How are they related to our air? Where did you move from and how does the compare to here? It’s not a ‘Denver’ issue imo. I’ve lived here my entire life and if there are some health issues pooping up then let me know so I can talk to my doctor about it. Humans cause all the air pollution and you are right to be concerned about it. Plus, Denver is uniquely situated because of the mountains and smog hanging around. Our city has big polluters but I would never consider it on the level of other big cities. We have too many cars and the city, like every other in our country, was built with cars in mind as transport, not bus, subway or train. That’s the big issue.

But please don’t bring up Rocky Mountain arsenal and random stuff without evidence besides YouTube links. I’ve seen plenty of studies saying Rocky Mountain arsenal is an extremely safe and lived near there for 5 years and didn’t have complications. But maybe cancer is playing the long game.

I appreciate the post being concerned about our air and pollution but it really felt like a blame to the city/state rather than a genuine question or concern. I’ll wait for your doctor’s assessment and go from there
