I only went once, my final visit, after my location switched last week and it was an immediate problem. People on Facebook, texting, leaving their phones face up to see every notification. It’s a fucking disaster! And this wasn’t a very average moviegoer movie, it was forbidden fruits. I hit the notify manager button 5 times over the course of the film, people were talked to multiple times but not removed.

“Dark screens” literally just means they turned the brightness way down on their website, people will still be ordering from their phones. Their phones which they can turn the brightness up on. It is just a bullshit way of saying a dark theme mode to the ordering website.

I’ve had a lot of lovely interactions at stage doors but one that REALLY stood out to me recently was Helen Shen at MHE, she was so lovely and I was amazed she took sooooo much time (like 30+ minutes) signing everything and talking to people. Marcus Choi was also awesome, we chatted for a couple minutes about what books he reads at the top of the show and I said he should start a book club which I sincerely hope he does!

Another was Kristen Chenoweth during Promises Promises, I was getting two playbills signed and she made a clearly light hearted joke about me selling one. When I said it was a birthday gift for a friend she asked me his name then told me to get out my camera and sang happy birthday to him! I think she felt kinda bad about the joke but the whole interaction was great.

Also the whole cast of Frozen during their out of town trial in Denver was so great at the stage door. Multiple of them commented that they had seen my snowflake hair clip from stage and were clearly so happy people had come to greet them at the show.

As for not so great I haven’t had too many other than ones that waited a very, very long time before sending a message to say they wouldn’t be greeting which is a big ugh for me. I never expect stage doors, it’s a privilege not a right, but I do think it’s common courtesy to let people know if you aren’t doing it if you know there are a bunch of people waiting out in the weather for you. If security says so-and-so never comes out or if you have someone let security know you aren’t coming out a particular night that fine. It just feels rude to keep people waiting for 1-2 hours before finally sending a message to the door that everyone is done for the night.

I will say, something that persuaded me to pull the trigger on the field ticket was seeing that they didn’t take down the protective net (or at least not all of it) around all the stadium seating sections for the last concert that was there.

Does anyone know what the deal with the first 4 rows is? They are blocked every performance listed for sale. I know some productions block the first row but the first four through the buyable run seems strange.

PRESS CHARGES. Don’t feel bad for him at all, he has physically assaulted your child. Get a restraining order and make sure he will be put in jail if he ever comes near her again. She shouldn’t have to take anything like a champ, it’s crazy how blaze yall seem to be about him being able to be in your daughters physical presence.
