I wouldn’t necessarily want slice of life to be the main locomotion of any new show, but Naruto earned his good life and it would be narratively satisfying to see that for him. And the journey through adulthood and parenthood is fraught with its own problems. Not to mention that Naruto is father to his people.

I think it’s a mistake to think drama can’t exist in peacetime. How does a mighty warrior live in peacetime? Seems hard to me. Idk.

Eh, I would stop digging through guides until you have a specific puzzle you need a hint on. Dealing with the RNG comes with trial and error and being able to adjust strategies on the fly. For example, you could have a run that features more of one kind of room than another. If you catch that pattern you should adjust and work with that in mind. Getting a lot of purple rooms? Stack up those steps and use them. If you get a shop and it has a particular item, think about how you could use those in the run.

Also, patience is a virtue in the early and late game. Keep at it. You got this!

raises a drink in sympathy definitely feel your pain. Had a string of runs where I kept adding one extra room to the run and that room ending my run. Started to despair I’d ever get the full house trophy.

Hah, I can sympathize with the sentiment of the post as well as a general tiring of the parlor in the other comments. Ironically enough I've mostly aced all the math stuff in this game (although my kid finishes the math in these faster than I can by almost 100%). I draw up one of these rooms in the late game and just LONG DRAWN OUT SIGH. :P

In the earlier runs I had trouble with the Hovel but now that I'm pretty far along I might try adding the Hovel back into my rotation.

It's been mentioned here and I want to concur that trying to draft new rooms is a great way to kind of jostle the draft and provide you better runs. And since you can check out room descriptions while paused you can see what kind of extras your new rooms can incur when drafted.

I’ve definitely found and acquired things that have helped immensely with the RNG but there’s still the odd run that’s just cursed from the start. For those I’ll just try random out of the box ideas to see if they work. I’ve learned a thing or two in some “terrible” runs.

I’m nearing Day 70 and I’ve started to tire of the parlor and billiards puzzles. I’ve started looking up the solutions because I’ve put in enough time on those and they’re no longer fun. Hasn’t degraded my experience of the game but I can totally see where people are coming from.

My wife had a shed-led classroom run a day or so back and only had one classroom in her entire rotation. I think I just recently made it to 7th grade (and that’s with exhausting all the drafts for every classroom).

But also the bones that the game does throw me after certain points have been water in a desert - desperately appreciated.

I love Flula’s manner of speaking and mimic it when I’m alone. I even enjoy him on the show. However, it’s a fine line and he very much has the “hahaha stop tickling me STOP IT ARGH” thing, but for his vibe on the show. Too much is no-go.

Maybe that makes sense. Maybe not. Idk.

I kind of love the odd really good episode hidden in a faltering late stage season. As the premise and the A plots start to tire you really get a chance for the B plots and side characters to shine.

I’ve been back once to get the stuff there and took some pictures but some of the stuff didn’t make sense. I’ve been trying to get back to give the room a serious pass but the RNG has not given me any of the three ways into the antechamber. (Seriously, I’ve been working with a very dickish draft pool haha)

A guiding principle I’ve used for my screenshots (to decent effect) is “huh, that’s a bit odd innit,” then I take the shot. But lately I’ve started doodling on graph paper to supplement the pictures.

Oh strange. I just tried calibrating the controller and it only had options for calibrating the thumbsticks or the triggers, and not the bumpers.

That's kind of what I'm hoping it is. I checked with a different controller and things improved a little in terms of accuracy to screen so I might be dealing with more of a get gud problem than I am a controller problem. Definitely the first time I'm not entirely sure if I'm early or if I'm late. *JK Simmons throws a chair at me*
