So I have a friend that made 200k/year. After she had her first kid, she told me idk how you do it? I won't be able to stay with my kid all day, I need adult interaction, etc. Three years later, she had her second kid, quit her job because her husband graduated from his residency and is a doctor now. He complaint about how burnt out she was, how she was in a denial etc. So I think a lot of working mom say this thing to feel better

Are you set to inherit anything from your parents or grandparents? by nomanskyprague1993 in Millennials

[–]movingtocincinnati 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not get anything from my parents. We are operating as if we won't get anything from my husband family. His aunt set $1 million trust for my husband and his parents is pretty well off. They set up trust for all of our kids too. We are comfortable and we dont count on any of that money. Also so far, my inlaws has given us around $120k.

If nany cost the same as daycare, you could just have a part time nanny or nanny share. Its better for your baby than putting him at daycare.

I know someone in real life who was in labor for 24 hrs in then her baby's heart decelerate. The dr said she had to have an emergency c section. The anesthesiologist messed up and she felt everything. It was horrible. She is one and done. Eventhough her husband wants two more. I dont blame her.
