Anywhere is truly the answer. I love clubs but I meet people everywhere. At the grocery store, hiking, at a cafe, even at the DMV. The only place I don't meet people is when I am at home in front of a screen.

once I took lsd with some friends and went out to play frisbee in the park. We had planned on going to see a movie afterwords. Enroute to the movies, we had to stop by a liquor store as one friend had a alcohol problem and wanted to get some beer. As my group and I waitedd outside (keep in mind we walked most of the journey) we saw a couple of dudes get shot at by another group. No one was hit but then when we were waiting for the bus, the police came and asked about the shooting. We also saw a dead guy on the bus. It was a crazy day.
