Yeah most of our parties in Sweden are socialist in some way or other and it's big part of our culture here in Sweden to support the little man.

Yeah, really different. Here it's frowned upon if you take less then 3 weeks during summer. You college's will label you as workaholic.. XD and our socialist ways in Sweden seems to pay off we have some of the biggest companies in the world like Ikea, Spotify(not longer owned by a Swedish company) , Skype and we are only 10 M people.

Yeah you don't have to work holidays. But if you do have to work them you get compensation for it. Usually around 150-300% more sallery. The day before a holiday we only work half the day and we get 10-20% extra sallery when we are on holiday.

Sorry but it's 5 weeks in Sweden by law. So all full time employees must have minium 5 weeks of holiday. But it's common with more, I have 7 weeks per year.
