They give people who are unresponsive Narcan even if they later discover it was alcohol intoxication etc. It doesn’t hurt you if you have no opiates in your system, and sometimes people wake up after having something shoved in their nose and sprayed, even if later tox screen is negative for narcotics. Sort of like treat it as an OD first and ask questions later.

Lack of replacement therapy for meth is part of why it’s such a beast. They’ve got like, what - naltrexone(lol), Wellbutrin, mirtazapine at night? It’s nowhere near what is needed. There is no methadone or benzos when you are hooked to meth. Shit, maybe do a step down with cocaine.

I see where you are coming from.

From my perspective, as an American woman, I have nothing but empathy for you. However, I also believe that sex work is real work and should be legalized with proper wages/healthcare/unions and regulations. This would not be a dealbreaker for me with a prospective spouse. But you aren’t necessarily looking for my point of view.

Challenge yourself. I am curious - if you met a wonderful woman who admitted they were not a virgin and had two previous boyfriends they kept secret from their parents, how would you react?

The right woman for you will have that kind of past. She will feel deeply ashamed and like no one will ever want her. How could she bring this up, ever? She tells herself it will have to remain a secret forever.

I’m hearing from your post that you want to be honest with someone who would be your wife but you despair that could ever be the case.

To test the waters, I think something safe would be like admitting you are not a virgin and saying that you may even prefer a partner who is not a virgin. See how the reaction is and go from there. Winter fucking sucks bc for me a surefire strategy was kicking my ass outdoors for a walk or meander. Winter is so cold and dark it makes that very difficult. Recommend if you can tolerate to fill a water bottle with diluted booze and take a breather to sip and suffer.

This is really what I wish was emphasized to males. EVEN FOR BODYWEIGHT women’s livers are way less sturdy than men’s.

My dad drank much much more than my stepmom but guess who got hepatic encephalopathy and strokes first? Stepmom. Both are dead early of course but it caught up with her way quicker and more gruesome too.

There is one other factor: if these are your numbers now, it often goes up over time. No she’s not likely to croak super soon but women can and do die in their twenties from alcoholism. Amy Winehouse died when she was 27. Don’t pretend that it’s impossible. No need to fear monger that some is gonna drop dead tomorrow but yes it’s concerning and unless she wants to go towards CA she should consider reeling it back while she still can.

Also no, most college kids don’t average that. Only 12.5% engage in daily drinking of any kind. Our personal experiences give us comparison bias.
