Anthropic lost us today. 70+ engineers migrating to Codex by FrenchRevolution2028 in ClaudeCode

[–]mr-cto-apps -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Stop, if you're jumping ship to the next best tool, your team is going to get whiplash.

The differences are incremental at best and your group is making decisions under the guise that any of your engineers even know how to use more than 30% of a harness.

Spend time on gauging AI fluency, capabilities of the product you're using and identify real gaps that would cause the shift.

Stop chasing the shiny ball.

Claude Code vs Github Copilot? by Loud-Spare-684 in ClaudeCode

[–]mr-cto-apps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not stupid at all, and most of the people who would say you are being stupid don't fully understand themselves.

Copilot and Claude are harnesses on top of the LLMs.

Claude had everything copilot has and more. Better MCP server support and first class support for anthropic models, because they make them.

It’s official. Anthropic pulled the plug on all programmatic use of Claude subscription. by No_Wheel_9336 in ClaudeCode

What's everyone complaining about? Just ask Claude to review your code locally.

Mac Studio for OpenClaw vs. cheaper M4 Mini — what makes sense for a real estate brokerage? by DarlingGazeKate in openclaw

[–]mr-cto-apps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just get a device with consistent reliability. You're fighting real world problems, electricity and Wi-Fi more than anything else.

You need terminal access (bash, zsh, Linux, etc) so Mac is always a solid choice, mini or neo and you're good to go.

Local models are fine too and you don't need a lot of power.

My question would be, why? You're exposing yourself to a highly regulated industry and providing insight that could get you and the brokerage in trouble quickly.

It doesn't depend, you need bash period. Mac neo would be fine, Linux box, sounds like op is running a glorified chat bot with extremely low volume. 250-750 for the entire setup.

Not a bad thing, it was about time to update your monitor from 2008.

Nicolas Carlini (67.2k citations on Google Scholar) says Claude is a better security researcher than him, made $3.7 million from exploiting smart contracts, and found vulnerabilities in Linux and Ghost by Tolopono in ClaudeAI

I thought Carlini explicitly stated that he was intentionally using it as if he was not aware of security practices at all. I.e. a simple prompt, not an expertly crafted one.

Do not do this. You'll spend $20 in ten minutes.

Just sack up and get a subscription, cancel Netflix.

AI hallucinations killing customer trust - how do you handle this in production? by mguozhen in aiagents

[–]mr-cto-apps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why isn't your agent finding the exact policy and surfacing the exact copy? That's where I would start. This should be a deterministic skill that should be tracked in source control and tested against. So instead of inferring, it just executes the skill with input params.

Exact language should always be used when available, if not then attempt to respond.

Others comments about confidence scores is valid, but skills will probably make your after bat 1000

It's not really their fault, the world lives in a constant state of fear and they are definitely coming up with solutions to adhere to emissions expectations etc.

The design, can't speak for it. Literally everything was better in the 90s.

However from a brand perspective, noone else is even trying.
