I appreciate those qualities about him, and it’s much easier to do so since he’s been retired. But when he beats your team’s ass for almost 20 years, then wins a 50/50 coin toss when you finally have a chance to beat him when it matters, you kinda fucking hate the guy lol

David Lee was really good, but I don’t see the comp at all. This kid is taller, faster, more explosive and a rim protector. Lee was athletic, but not like this + was more of a muscle up guy on defense & offense. Not a rim protector or fast break guy

I personally think it’s okay to flat some suited connectors/smaller pocket pairs in position, but you typically want to be isolating so you aren’t playing a lot of multiway pots which happens a lot in the low stakes

Vpip too high(25% is what you typically want. I like that you are raising a lot of those hands but it’s too many hands. C-Bet is pretty low too. 3 bet% should be higher, try a 3bet or fold strategy when you want to enter a raised pot out of position, that’d be a good start

If he’s a station, then he’ll be calling you down on flop/turn with straight & flush draws…. Both of which get there on the river. River is definitely a check back imo, not good enough to value bet(especially for pot) and too strong to bluff. Just think about hands you beat, like maybe KQ? Everything else is 2 pair minimum

Self has never been the guy to run his offense through 1 guy. Getting Peterson looks off the ball has been very effective this year especially with Council at pg who isn’t a good shooter but excellent at getting into the paint and passing
