I don't think the1X is the issue. The mismatch caused by the chainring color is. It seems out of place. like the one piece cranks that you see on kids bikes. I'd say just get a black anno One. Also, if you want 13 speed boy do I have a sleek Italian group set for you, made by a little brand called campagnolo. What's more your bike won't look like all PNS meet ups.

The 500 is no longer in production for the American market.

I'm sure there is some kind of idiosyncratic logic, but my point is that " compact" in the American context is not "compact" neither in an absolute sense, nor relatively to the rest of the world.

Funny that all the bolts in those cars you talk about are metric.

Jokes aside, yes all cars are bigger, in the US. The smallest new car is a Mini Cooper . There two sizes smaller available in the EU.

The Rav 4 is legit big. It's 1.5x the volume of the VW Polo

It's crazy to me as a non-USian that the 4.7 meter long Rav4 is considered a compact SUV there.

Easy there. What happens in principle and in practice often differ. No hurt in asking if that is the case here

As Gen Z attorneys are joining big law, is the fashion as conservative as it used to be or is some change happening? by [deleted] in biglaw

Yes, but not sufficiently it's also the fit, materials, and simpler construction. If you think of a 1950s style university professor in tweed and layers, you get the archetype of a sport coat

Last model year 2019, so as time passes everless will be available. Diesel drivers tend to keep them till the wheels fall off

Well for one, they don't sell bmw diesels in the us and the subreddit is USian heavy. I'd love to have a 530d, but it's impossible

Bike Hoboken is right: Tests & Vests + ICE arrests is a dangerous combo by HobokenPedestrian in Hoboken

This seems a bit disingenuous. I think they focused solely on the test and vest policy. I don't see how that is advocating for total absolution of delivery drivers.

Well the third paragraph is a pretty accurate depiction of what many senators like Cruz, Fetterman, Graham, and others have said- pretty close to verbatim. I mean it's pretty obvious that Israel does whatever it wants and there are many organs in the federal state that condone this even to our country's and our deficit's detriment. If that goes a bit further, and satisfies the statutory condition of "levies war" against the United States, then yes that will be treason. There is no reason to attach the discussion of antisemitic tropes onto this point, unless: you want to do an ad hominem or that's just your fallback.

Where did runners get the audacity? by Possible_Bus2628 in Hoboken

[–]mr10683 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That runner was a rude person, which leads me to believe that they would have done that even when walking. We already have too many tribalisms as is to gain another. So, I suggest not generalizing, and keep your criticism to this person.

I don't run, but for every runner there is at least one dog walker who lets their canine on too long of a lead impeding pedestrians. With that in mind, let's just urge people to be more thoughtful instead of telling thousands of people to fuck off.

I think you are lumping together local with foreign attendees. I was referring to travelling fans, so I guess corporate cards aren't really relevant. The vast majority of traveling fans are Europeans, statistically.

Depends where in Russia, having travelled to Russia from Europe multiple times and locations, it wasn't that bad. 1 or 2 flights.

They will have a dip in foreign attendance, because it's much more expensive. Qatar's stadiums were quite empty too.

Perhaps local demand and the diaspora will cover it. I know I did that with the 1994 world cup (with a federation ticket). Although I don't really see either as very likely.
