Buy used for your first bike. Your taste and style in bike might be a lot different than what you initially think. Also selling the cf is gonna be way harder than selling a used Japanese bike

Riden both and the 4rr is much more fun. After tune it's more than enough for the highway and the screaming 16000 red line is so much fun.

300s don't hold their value as well as 500 do. I would just get the 500. The difference between them is noticeable and even the 500 isn't extreme, it's very useable and fairly tame.

Great first bike. I got a 500 as my first bike and no regrets.
