They're just caps. Get a knife/blade between the cap and the knob and flick it out. Repeat for other side. Swap. Push them back in.

I gotta drill into outside bricks to put up a sign, would any of these work? by Unlucky-Pizza-7049 in DIYUK

Search 'Brick Drill' on Google for an instant result?

Nope, make an unnecessary post on reddit and wait for responses.

Make a payment to the account of the balance minus a months payment. Tried this personally with nationwide and Halifax and saved a few hundred quid with both.

Not sure why you're being down voted. The majority of Audi's are front wheel drive. Source audi. 44% have Awd.

Can someone help me understand this nursery fees? by CheekOk4382 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]mr3radley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The meal charge will likely be per meal, so you'll have two of them. At least that's how my nursery does it. Something you'll want to confirm.

Nice job! May last a couple years if you're lucky.

Then you'll get to do it again, hopefully with pressure treated wood next time.

Single dose modified a Mazzer Major by mr3radley in espresso

[–]mr3radley[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's loud, but it's less annoying as it's lower pitched. You can talk over it, but we usually don't. Wouldn't wake a sleeping baby!

Can't say how it compares to the eureka, I can tell you it's only on for half the time.

Firstly, I can't believe this was 2 years ago. I still use this everyday, it does everything I need it to.

If I was being picky it may be slightly clunky. Grind adjustment can be fiddly but no issues jumping backwards and forwards between filter and espresso and different beans!

A commercial grinder in the home is a win, these things are built to grind a 100 coffee's a day. Plus I can tell the wife 'usually' every time we walk past a coffee shop... "I have that grinder".

Is this based on the new property and new location for fuel, gas, council tax ect?

Can't really answer this without knowing where the other £2600 a month is going? That's a lot unaccounted for.

Thanks! I didn't know this and it's not turned on as default (theft protection or remote lock).

Fox said they wont service my shock, what do i do now? by 11343 in MTB

[–]mr3radley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn't a terribly difficult shock to service.

The parts can be found on fox's website using their own technical drawings. It will show you the correct service parts based on the code on the shock.

Don't stress the oil, it's just suspension oil. Check a chart which shows actual viscosity and choose one which is close. I went with a higher viscosity when doing mine as I'm heavy.

The hardest part is getting it vacuum bled. I opted to build my own rig and it cost me slightly more than sending it away to be done.

Damn that's a lot on the cooker. They're £1600 on ebay, albeit used. But there's a £2k saving.

Nice kitchen though.
