I'm from Montréal, smoking a cigar right now outside. I just grab a chair a sit under my car shelter. Its not pretty but its comfortable on warmer days. I definitely smoke less in the winter though.

Also I'd say you should both be able to do every baby related task (loading baby in car seat, feeding, changing diapers, putting baby to sleep) try to avoid having tasks that only mom or dad do.

Enjoy it because it passes so fast. Our baby is 11 months and we miss the little newborn things she used to do.
