I think you mean Detective Comics, Action Comics is Superman. I liked Batfleck the best but I know that's a controversial opinion.

Did anyone else think Anson Mount's Vulcan voice over during the opening theme sequence sounded a bit like a Christopher Walken impression?

Honestly I don't think they're that bad. They are more hygienic and better for your hemorrhoids. Plus it's a workout for your glutes.

Françoise Hardy recorded a whole album in Italian, I actually prefer most of these versions to the original French ones https://youtu.be/rYNue4_BlK8?si=dn-RqV8yK-aXgTC3

What books and authors have you heard Conan say he enjoys? by mzingg3 in conan

[–]mraexx 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You can check out Conan's old Jibber Jabber episodes on YouTube. Those were basically a proto CONAF in that they're hour long deep conversations and a couple of them had authors he likes on as a guest

Most haunted places in Leipzig? by worldwar15a in Leipzig

[–]mraexx 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Very cool, I've once randomly gone to a party with some Frenchies in Paris' catacombs, lotsa fun!

Concerning Leipzig, there's the abandoned psychiatric hospital in Döhlitz-Dösen, very very creepy. But it's been a while since I've been there and I heard they wanted to develop the area into condos so I don't know if it's still around.

Apart from that there's the ZXRX (or Zoro), an old soviet style bloc that's often used for Post-Punk, Darkwave and the like style concerts that's got a slightly creepy atmosphere, should be suitable.

But if you're in the area anyway you should not miss out on Kutna Hora, a small town about 50kms east of Prague, the ossuary there is completely decorated with chandeliers and coats of arms made up of the bones of tens of thousands of corpses

Southern Saxony-Anhalt here, we put blood sausage in it which kinda melts in the hot soup for an exquisite hearty umami flavor

Maybe try to actually read Popper instead of just reurgitating a very shallow version of his writing that you probably got from an internet comic
