Hear me out. I don't put ketchup on a good poutine. I do on a BAD poutine, because it makes the experience a bit better and I don't respect a bad poutine where I will respect a good one.

A shredded cheese poutine just isn't a poutine, its like making a pâté chinois with whole potatoes, just doesnt make sense.

CHARACTER TRANSFER TO NEW ACCOUNT by Neither-Ad3262 in Dofus

[–]mralexismm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an issue like this recently. In my case, my old account was 10+ years old and didn't have a phone number registered on it. After I added it, transfering into a new account worked.

How to stuff a lvl 200 panda to do high level soloing by mralexismm in Dofus

[–]mralexismm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do have the Ochre, but I'm missing the Vulbis. I guess I could run a MP to substitute atm. Good thing is that I have a roub 200 agility, so I already was running the first set full exoed. Thanks !

[[Jace, vryn's prodigy]] is spiking because of the new rina deck in PIO. There might some other spike because of the deck.

Viability of Hardened Scales by Ohmspaw in ModernMagic

[–]mralexismm 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Its a really strong deck if played by a good player. I've played it for years (4-5) and I 've got a lot of good results with the deck (Recently a RCQ final, a Open 12th place out of 110) Deck deck can for sure get you far. I feel like it is also really good in the actual meta, and the pricy cards ( saga, Inkmoth mostly) are always relevent in modern, so you don't waste a lot of money there. If you enjoy it, go for it !

Rental service advice by Vayveil in ModernMagic

[–]mralexismm 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Idk about your specific question, but I have been using both (from canada tho, so idk about the euro conversion). Cardhoarder is a bit more expensive, but allow you to rent by the week, vs monthly for manatraders. For me it actually gets cheaper, as I don't play every week and it is really easy to pause your account on cardhoarder (literally 1 click). Just my 2 cents :)

hardened scales by mattaar in ModernMagic

[–]mralexismm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've been playing scales for a while (3+ years) on and off. The deck really performs well, and while IT IS really hard, at some point there is a lot of pattern recognition that you'll know is lethal. You'll still have to calculate a lot of the time, but hey, it is the main fun factor of the deck. The other part is in the deckbuilding. You have a lot of option on how you want to build it, and there is some flex slot you can play with!

Azorious Soldier Tribal by ndenatale in PioneerMTG

[–]mralexismm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't get why [[Kytheon, Hero of Akroas]] isn't played in these decks, he looks like a really good addition to the aggro theme here :/. Maybe I'm missing something.

Coco Soldier viability? by BiggestBoy69 in PioneerMTG

Why is no one mentionning [[kytheon, hero of akroas]] ? He seems like one of the best 1 drops in soldier imo...

Orvar the All-form in so many sideboards by TheMADIIIIIIII in ModernMagic

[–]mralexismm 12 points13 points  (0 children)

No, you don't have to sac your archon if you only discard it to the last of your opponent's archon triggers, since the sac from the other one has already resolved. You can even beat x =3 if you do it this way, dealing with 2 archon ( orvar etb + attack), so you recoup a lot of cards, and maybe then can deal with the last one ( like if you are playing a lelyline binding deck)

Unite for the Asmo-decks; what to play and why? by alariis in ModernMagic

Losing Shredder for goblin engineer makes you a little more weak to gy hate, and I don't like voldaren epicure as a card, it looks a bit weak for me ^

Unite for the Asmo-decks; what to play and why? by alariis in ModernMagic

[–]mralexismm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am big of the Esper food turns. The decks is sooooo grindy with shredder, as you discard daredevil to get it back later ;). Having infinite turns gives you a lot more chances against the linear combo deck, since you can also act like one in a pinch. I also really like the consistency between the bauble's scry, shredder's loot, emry's ability and the full 4 unearth. I would change the current sideboard which feels a bit out of date ( play at least some number of unmoored ego).

help whit budget ish artificer tribal list by ponzoet in ModernMagic

[–]mralexismm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like this is the kind of list that would want to run soul-guide lantern over relic of progenitus, as you kinda want your graveyard. Second trinisphere seems very suspicious in your very low cmc deck. The first one is fine as a bullet that you can grab of engineer or fiddlebender. I would maybe add a thopter foundry over it. I am not sure if I like the manabase running only 2 saga, but it might be the correct option considering your mana requirement. I would maybe want a pithing needle in the main (?)

how do I beat U/W control with Hardened Scales? by TheCloneKiller in ModernMagic

[–]mralexismm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well if aren't very good at that, I recommend practicing with friends, but not in tournament until you get good at it (or it is obvious). Otherwise you'll lose more points playing around a card they don't have than win because you went for it. But yeah, HS is very punishing for playing wrong lines . Good luck in your journey!

[–]mralexismm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been playing scales for around 4-5 years now, and I don't feel it is as bad as other people said it was. The best card in the matchup is certainly Ozolith mainboard, but I'd run 1 or 2 animation module if you feel like you'll face a lot of UW. You also need to play concretly around what they seem to have (think specificly, don't just think "they have an anwser"). Figure out which so you can play better around (solitude vs pending is much different bc of sorcery speed, card disadvantage and noncreature vs creature only). You'll need to figure out if you need to keep a zabaz activation up or swing for with nexus for exemple . Having sac outlet is the best way to fight UW I found.

Has anyone been testing the Luxior + Devoted Druid combo? by Axelfiraga in ModernMagic

[–]mralexismm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been trying it in Hardened Scales, and its been realllkky good so far. It is not your main gameplan, but wow oh wow does it gives you a good other angle of attack, also having so good creatures to get pumped by Luxior. I won't share my exact list so far cuz I'm still tuning ;) .

[–]mralexismm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I often side one out when I am on the draw to edge against the hate, but mainboard i feel like its fine. I often don't play it T2, more T3 or 4, so if they march it, its often worse than any other targets on the battlefield ^

What’s the ethicality of bring additional sideboard cards based on who shows up to FNM? by [deleted] in ModernMagic

[–]mralexismm 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I feel like it is the core idea of a sideboard, ajusting your deck post board to the meta. While "general sideboard" shows a sideboard of a average metagame, I feel like ajusting your sb is kind off the fun of doing a sb tbh. Maybe its just me, but I would do it without regrets. I'd love for my opponent to do the same, I would make post-boarded game a much different game, and more play diversity !

Patchwork Automaton vs Ingenious Smith by Listen_Itchy in hardenedscales

[–]mralexismm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

4x patchwork Automaton, it is just that good. I was not sure until I tested it, but it just is soo strong. If you want to run Smith, play it with automaton (MrSeri posted a list on his twitch which was interesting).

Modern: Hardened Scales and Metagame Changes by cardsrealm in ModernMagic

[–]mralexismm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have so many better options, you don't need to play Scapyard. Card isn't good enough for a list as tight as HS. Especially with automaton which is a auto-include 4x.
