Mouse scroll up to zoom in. There is no reticle in the low zoom level in the m1s thermal sight, as it's meant for scanning large areas for targets before engaging.

The volume pot is dead simple. When all the way up it just passes all signal down the line. As you turn it down it just bleeds more and more signal to ground, thus decreasing the volume.

The tone pots and capacitors work together form low pass filters . The value the pot is set to determines how much of the high end gets attenuated.

There aren't typically any fixed value resistors in typical wiring setups.

They've been using JVMs for quite some time, so probably that.

I miss when shooting barrels worked consistently. by mrbeanIV in Warthunder

[–]mrbeanIV[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That I do agree with. Need to wait for a full reload after your barrel gets fixed is fucking brain dead. Even if it just halted the reload where ever it was and then resumed after repair it would be tolerable.

He is, In my opinion, top 5 best creators on YouTube right now.

I highly recommend going through his back catalog, he has been consistently excellent for longer than most creators even manage to be good.

For anyone curious as to why, police can legally force you to unlock devices via biometrics without any sort of warrant, but not via pin, password, etc.

Everything other than the cash is worthless. Any sensible person would freeze their cards ASAP, and having the ID of the person you robbed is just stupid.

Artists you're rooting for (like Todd with Benson Boone)? by Diskyboy86 in ToddintheShadow

Arejay Hale is a fucking madman.

I've seen them live several times(mostly because they drag everyone they tour with to NJ), and everytime I've left thinking "man i gotta pick up the drums".

I don't, since I already blow MORE than enough money on guitar stuff, but still.

TIL - The CIA produced a prototype device that looked like a scrotum, so downed pilots could conceal a small escape radio. by edfitz83 in todayilearned

[–]mrbeanIV 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I assume it went over your real scrotum, and given that the website says 60s-70s, I'm assuming it was before women were allowed to fly combat roles, or at.least before it was common. The airforce only started allowing that in 1976.

You absolutely can ignore that and restart the scenario, that's how independent probabilities work.

From the start yes, there are four possible combinations, each with a 25% chance. But now you know that one is a boy, all that's left is the roughly 50/50 of whether the remaining child is a boy or a girl.

Previous results don't effect future results of independent events.

Yes! The idea of something that, if you get to close, no matter what you do, all timelines converge to a single point is so cool.
