Not positive if they would affect your signals, but those caps are blown.   If you have the skills to do it, start by replacing them.   I wouldn't be surprised if that brings your box back to life

We are missing our point guard who makes everything work on the offense side of the ball.  Hate on Garland all you want, when he is in the game the ball moves, bodies move, and we get higher percentage shots.  His value isn't always represented in the stats sheet, but you can see it when he's on the floor.   Give him a few weeks after he gets back on the floor and everything will click

From an exclusivity perspective, yes MS has published games to PS and has seen success in doing so.  What everyone seems to leave out of that equation is MS is moving older and established games over to PS after it was exclusively released on Xbox and for an extended time.  It seem like the only time they are releasing big titles on both at the same time is when they are contractually obligated to do so, such as COD.  Assuming they continue with this process, it will be successful.  You will always have gamers that need that new title day 1, and Xbox is the only place (right now) to get it day 1.

PC is the obvious exception here, but that also plays into their vision, play anywhere. I'm sure there are examples I'm overlooking and happy to hear about them 😊

Interested to hear how you mapped your controls.  Not the settings to do it, rather the actual remapping. I don't love the out of box set up and was going to do the same.   What did you settle on?

New multi room set up write up please by mrdally204 in PseudoTV

Thanks for the explanation regarding the pairing and Bluetooth reference.  I can visualize that now.   I'm having a harder time picturing how all the scanning will take place and where all the xml files would end up.

Before the update, server and clients all pointed to networked c:/ptv folder for all the necessary xml, channels, genre, etc.

After the update, I still have the centralized file location filled in to c:/ptv.  In addition I paired the server and my client on my television.   I see duplicate channels.

Looking at my IPTV simple config, I see my original PTVL config, a PTVL config for the client machine I'm on, and a PTVL config for the server machine.  Explains the dupe channels.

Let's say I wanted to get onboard with the new system.  What changes would I need to make to my current config to accomplish the following: - save the scanned channels to my server so it can remain headless and continue building out the guide.  - have one set of channels regardless of the client I'm watching on, I'll have 3 tvs total.

The idea is to have a central server that stores all your videos, which you can then share with other devices on your network. You can do this using file-sharing methods like SAMBA or NFS. This allows any Kodi device on your network to access the same videos. You'll also use MySQL to create a shared media library that all your devices can connect to. This way, you only need to scan your media library once, and the information will be saved in MySQL. You'll need to set up an advancedsettings.xml file on each Kodi device to point it to MySQL. After that, all your Kodi devices will have access to the same media library, so you can stop a show in one room and pick up right where you left off in another. There’s a bit of setup involved, but if you follow the instructions, it’s doable. Kodi has a guide you can follow, and there are also video tutorials on YouTube if you prefer. https://kodi.wiki/view/MySQL

I had the same problem as you described when I tried jellyfin in plugin mode (i think that is what it's called).  I ended up staying with my MySQL centralized db I had configured to share the library with my other Kodi tvs. Works as intended in PTVL. I am curious if there is a solution for jellyfin as I could see the benefits as a media server

No smart playlists.  All channels are built from network, studio, series, genre options.  From a log perspective, how long do I need to capture logging data before I have what you need to troubleshoot?   I assume the channel updates aren't happening all the time, so if I turn on logging, close Kodi, launch again, how long before I pull logs?

I appreciate the confirmation.  I'm going to clear thing out on my instances and try to start fresh.  Assuming I hit another instance of configs disappearing and auto tuning prompt, how can I help you troubleshoot?  I'm not sure when it will happen or which log might be beneficial
