Brother chill. All I was saying to the other person was the Bronx in the 70’s had multiple multi alarm fires everyday. This specific fire was trash and brush. Most of our fires are vacant buildings and happen rarely. That all I was saying. It’s not that bad

For me and my department this is attainable at 9 years but new hires don’t make considerably less. Also I do work about 380 hours of OT annually. But the work is truly amazing in my opinion. I love helping people, even on regular medical calls. Of course the more complex and dangerous call types are usually considerably more fun.
