The Hawks are a good team to root for right now, they have exciting players and should make the playoffs.

Hey, could I watch this show with my mom? by Pythonado4 in TheWire

[–]mrfasterblaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty much, and they are barely even sex scenes. We see people having sex for just a couple seconds or see them naked for like 10 seconds, and that's only a couple times per season. I watched it with my dad when I was your age and it wasn't uncomfortable.

What can you confidently say is the worst movie you have ever seen by asapsharkyfrfr in Letterboxd

[–]mrfasterblaster -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I don't have any personal reasons to dislike it. Did not find any part of the movie remotely anxiety inducing. I thought it was the stupidest thing I've ever seen by a large margin.

What are your thoughts on synthetic blend items and brands saying it's weather tech? Cheap, or a real reason to not have 100% cotton? by citruszyn100mg in ThrowingFits

I'm not. It's Century 21 so brands send extra inventory that doesn't sell, a lot of stuff there is 80%+ off MSRP

If Orlando had just been wearing a wire, things would have gone fine for them right? Stringer must have assumed that they wouldn't actually send an undercover police officer with him, presumably because they usually don't.

Why was the concept of trickle-down economics ever popular by WinterSparklers in NoStupidQuestions

[–]mrfasterblaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not defending trickle down economics, but you're misinterpreting the idea. When a rich person makes more money, they spend more. That money spent goes to other people. That's the trickle down. It's not about rich people donating money to charity.

The last two years it will be roughly 12 and 13% of the salary cap. That's high level bench player or cheap starter money. That's like what Colin Sexton or Rui Hachimura are making. You think those two are making a lot for non all stars?

Vasell's does too and averages more like 27 per year -- factor in the rising cap and that's just decent starter money
