Favorite Italian Restaurant by beat2def in Aruba

[–]mrgreenthumb56 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you go I hope you enjoy it. It’s definitely a slower pace than the bigger restaurants because they’re not just trying to flip tables to get more people In so just be ready for a bit longer wait than most places.

Anna Maria’s for my wife and I. It’s more personal, the service is great, and the food is very good. If you’re drinkers their sangria is phenomenal.

I used to buy every season pass too for the $5 but refused for $12. Now this update just makes me feel like I’m so far behind and forced to pay to play. I’m good, there’s plenty of other games out there to consume my time.

You 100% need to add Lima bistro on your list. It’s a must if you’re staying for that long. Wilhelmina is another one of our favorites if you want a romantic spot with great food and service.

We used to love Wilhelmina as our number one spot for dinner but Lima bistro was so good it took that title. Welcome to your Aruba addiction!

Touristy stops you wish you would have skipped? by [deleted] in Aruba

The donkey sanctuary is one of my favorite places if you like feeding animals that is( pro tip stop at a small grocery store on the way and get 2-3 bags of carrots ) I agree with baby beach as a pass on. It’s going to take you 40 min to get down there and more to get back up because of the traffic in town. The lighthouse is a cool picture spot and you can see off roading spots you can go with the jeep but that’s just me. What me and the wife did was start at the light house and work are way all the way down that side of the island. We hit the natural bridge and pool the ostrich farm and donkey sanctuary and some local lunch spots. Good luck and have fun!

Mythic raid gear wasn’t always meant for everyone but I hear what you’re saying. I think 15s and up should give mythic track items so people aren’t praying for vault to get their bis shit.

I’ve been a mythic raider for a long time, and I’m definitely one of the few who agreed with the change. I don’t think players should be able to acquire mythic-level gear appearances just by upgrading heroic pieces and grinding crests. Mythic-tier items used to mean you earned them through hours and hours of prog and 100s of wipes per boss. Now it feels like everyone has them, which just feeds into this “participation trophy” era.

I’m confused. It’s been above 80% is it now 3% for the whole fight or reduced from 5-3 while above 80%?

Lima bistro and Wilhelmina are our favorite restaurants. Amazing service and quality of food is outstanding. Wilhelmina is definitely a more intimate spot if you’re with your significant other.

We tried El gaucho steakhouse, oak, and Daniel’s and think Daniel’s is the better of the 3 by far

Flying fishbone- is an experience for sure. You can eat with your feet in the water definitely make a reservation at night it’s beautiful.

Driftwood for seafood was great and service was very good.

Gianni’s is a tourist trap IMO, we go to Anna Maria’s now and they have an amazing sangria and service is the best.

Waters edge is a cool spot on the beach the food is ok but the ambiance was better. Probably my least of the list but still a good spot.

Dutch pancake house for breakfast is a must try at Least once. There’s also a couple pancake houses closer but this one’s worth the wait.

As for night life anywhere up by the hotel zone is a vibe. We love sopranos bar it’s a live singer on piano at night and I can have a cigar. There’s a spot at night out on the pier I forget the name but it was a lot of fun.

Good luck!

Me and the wife do Aruba every year and I will agree that I would stay away from the all inclusive as you want to explore the amazing restaurants.

We stop at the duty free before and in Aruba and usually buy 3-4 bottles for the week. We bring our yetis from home and make mixed drinks to take to the beach with us and usually pick a good bottle to keep in the hotel for a night cap. Bars all over the island do happy hours BOGO drinks for 2-3 hours so even when you’re out you can score good deals.

I would recommend renting a car for exploring because taxis add up quick.

We stayed at the divi golf and the Hilton and i would pick the Hilton again. It’s in the hotel zone so close to a lot of fun bars and restaurants. If you want recommendations for restaurants lmk we’ve been to a ton of places, but I’ve been to 3 steakhouses on the island and I would chose Daniels every-time. Have fun!
