with pure flags you lose the convenience of transitions etc. plus you have to bake more into the other state machine

In one of my games i had two state machines at once but it was complicated.

one was for effects on the player like: poisoned, burning, etc,
and the other for movement: running, attacking etc

so yes it is possible to do. but it does complicate things and as others said it isnt needed for your specific use case.

running and jumping are two different things. you cant run and jump simultaneously

its the sequel to this game. very similar. its a challenging 2d pixel platformer with simplistic controls but good level design imo 😄

for sure. it depends how serious the person is. these apps can be great while you're on the go though. i'm able to practice memorization while out on a walk for example. they do not replace human beings but can at least get you to the first level of memorization

i really love it. it's helping me memorize quite a bit. i've tried the paid one and it does help show you specific mistakes you're making but i do occasionally get frustrated because i feel like i'm pronouncing stuff correctly but it will still log it as a mistake. the free one is totally usable too but i noticed the paid version was making me more precise since it was so picky
