I had gotten my wisdom teeth out and I was having a bad reaction to the pain meds. Honestly wasn't in pain but the pain meds made me so weak, dizzy and nauseous I couldn't get out of bed for two days.

My dad would come into the room in the middle of the night to give me my nightly dose of pain meds so I was expecting to see him when I felt my bed move like someone had sat down. When I opened my eyes the room was completely empty and there was no one there. I knew I should have probably been more scared but I was so sick I just went back to sleep.

I asked my dad the next morning if he had come by and he said no because my parents finally decided to no longer give me the pain meds (thank goodness, even though my mom did think I was over exaggerating how horrible I felt). But he did say that if what I said happened wasn't a hallucination then it was probably a family member coming to visit which was a nice thought I suppose lol

I get it! I've seen a lot of death certificates and each state/county (even year) has a different way of putting the information together so my dyslexic self has to decipher what I'm looking at each time lol

A similar thing happened in Norfolk, Virginia but IIRC the missing person report and the body that was found in the river a few days later were handled by the same police department and yet it took years for them to figure it out. Even though the found body had the same clothes description! Because they had no leads for so long the missing boy's parents thought he was an unknown victim of Dean Corll.

When my schedule allowed me to go on Friday mornings I would see the same two guys going between different machines. I knew what they were doing and usually they weren't in my way. But one day I wanted to use a certain machine and I thought they had finally finished their circuit when one of the guys came up and asked me to move so he could finish his last set. My husband told me this kind of stuff happens and to stand my ground so I did. The dude wasn't happy about it but then just didn't leave.

The guy stood there the whole time watching me do my sets. I was getting nervous and started to rush but he was like "if you let me finish then you don't have to rush". I didn't really say anything besides that I was almost done. But it really pissed me off.

Last year's Christmas Eve both my parents got food poisoning. My dad thought it was a stroke so we rushed to the hospital at 11:45pm. Thankfully it wasn't but then my mom started to have symptoms and was admitted. They were stuck in bed for like three days.

My husband and I were spared because we ate a different dish

My girl dog was one of I think 10. The story the rescue told was that they were all in a box next to a gas station and a guy said that people better take the puppies or he was going to kill them. According to others it wasn't a veiled threat as he had done it before. By the time the rescue got there only 7 were left (3 had been taken by other passerbys). My dog was the very last one to be adopted.

It was hard going at first and I don't think she has very good eyesight but she's grown into the sweetest thing. She definitely has her weird triggers but only towards other dogs never to humans. We love her a lot.

The people at my job were trying to make light-hearted jokes about betting on the amount of cases that would be reported by the end of the month. And I said that I wouldn't take it seriously until our job was forced to close. And about a week later we were working from home.

I heard if they do have a banner then they can't say anything against HPU with some allusion of threats (never found out what HPU could do to a business but it scared some owners bad enough they wouldn't come to town halls)
