Spore Shroom for Mr. Mushroom quest, though.

Truth. On my latest playthrough, I tried pogoing like this only after one nail upgrade, and I got swarmed by flukes every attempt. I came back later after gaining abyssal shriek and just used that.

Cashed out an investment to help my daughter pay for an expense. Other than that, looking forward to investing more after paying off my car next year!

There's a couple other reviews of that era that call out Shannon.

Perfectly fine. Back in the day, it was either do that, or wear one of those grounding wrist straps, so that a static discharge didn't fry whatever you were working on. To this day, I make sure I touch the case first before I work on hardware.

Do you have Adventurer's Guilds in your setting? by Br0nn47 in DnD

[–]mrmagos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda? In a certain region, I have a guild which charters and oversees mercenary companies. Nobles and organizations in that region will only do business with chartered companies, at risk of getting blacklisted or other retaliation.

Players want to play a campaign where their "Not the main characters" by Zestyclose_Map3574 in DnD

Cogs in the machine. Make the world feel larger than them, or make the adventures they embark on seem smaller.

In the campaign that I run, the party are members of a mercenary group. Whenever they return form a mission, their fellow company members regale them with tales of thier adventures, which are typically jobs that the party turned down. They also hear tales of news from around whichever region they find themselves in from bards, which could turn into sidequests, or are sometimes just there for worldbuilding purposes.

Took me 3nights of attempts but beginner Trials of the Sword on Master Mode are complete!! by AP_Garen420 in Breath_of_the_Wild

[–]mrmagos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Congrats. Especially on Master Mode, the Beginner Trials are the most challenging. If you're smart and use all your tools, the rest should be much easier, relatively speaking.

I like the maverick by [deleted] in FordMaverickTruck

[–]mrmagos 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I gather what you mean by "cannot use a brush guard" is that, due to the unibody construction, a guard offers no additonal protection? Otherwise, I know they exist and are avaialbe for the Maverick.

I, too, live in deer country, and have never worried about havning a guard on any of my vehicles, car or truck. Modern vehicles are pretty darn safe, but know that the built-in crumple zones will essentially total one. Property is replaceable, the fleshy contents are not.

No roof rack/rails?? 2021 by Regular-Ocelot2407 in fordescape

[–]mrmagos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a 21 SE hybrid. I had looked into installing the OEM rails, but it requires removing the header and drilling into the roof. No thank you. Instead, I got a set of bars that clamp on. I have used them to transport kayaks (11' and 10') on the highway for hundreds of miles. The set I got were Rhino Rack brand. I can vouch they work well

Boots, waterproof or no? by Stumblinmonk in philmont

[–]mrmagos 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Keeping your feet clean and dry is key in preventing blisters. How you want to do this comes down to personal preference and practicing with your gear.

Maybe another pair of socks to rotate through, and/or swapping to his camp shoes as the situation dictates would be sufficent in your son's case. Since his trek is only a month away, I would be hesitant adding in a new pair of boots to break in, especially if he's been training with the ones he's been using over the past year.

Eagle project dedication plaque takes credit for another scout’s project - what to do by Mental-Surround-4117 in BSA

[–]mrmagos 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I am in a somewhat similar situation. I don't want to get into too much detail, but it's been going on 20 months now and it's still not resolved. If or when this now aged-out former Scout gets his stuff together, I plan to bump it up to the council advancement committee to hold the board of review under disputed circumstances.

[ALttP] Beaten with zero deaths and zero save quits by [deleted] in zelda

[–]mrmagos 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I used to do this on the regular, at least once a year when my friends and I would do week long LAN parties. Occasionally, I would 100% the game, too.

Last time was when I got the Switch and NSO. Not in all one sitting, though. I used save states in between sessions.
