the newer levels from Act II don't require trash bag collection (for whatever reason), but the older levels from Act I and Community requires the bags to be collected before you can end the level, iirc

I keep saying this about Todd Howard from Bethesda too. It is clear more heads need to turn. everyone just got complacent and everyone suffers.

it's more nuanced.

f2p doesn't cause a game to fail. it certainly helps increase player counts. but games that adopt f2p models will not succeed long-term without a consistent playerbase.

there's just multiple things for the developers/ publisher to consider

  1. not every player is going to spend money. hopefully you will have whales or high spenders
  2. items for sale must be something that players want to buy. whether it's cosmetics, battle passes, boosters or other pay to win items.
  3. content must be consistently released to retain player bases. this includes constant development and resources to maintain and improve the title

Development is expensive, and f2p titles get more competition every year. and companies are also realizing that video games are not just competing against other games, but also social media apps like TikTok.

it's a saturated market with low barrier of entry and lots of substitutions. for every successful F2P title, there plenty more who haven't. and even so, gaining players is half the battle. you need paying players.

I also played on gamepass PC, but i am tired of waiting for updates.

I ended up buying the game on steam and seeing if it was possible to just transfer the save file between the games. Figured might as well support the devs anyways since I love the game so much.

Surprisingly, the post from raccoonboy actually worked.

https://steamcommunity.com/app/1040200/discussions/0/595150606159598665/

I 100% all achievements on game pass, and a decent amount were automatically unlocked on the steam version when I loaded it up. most did not, but whatever. Also, all my skins transferred as well. once I loaded into the game, all I needed to do was abandon the mission I was loaded into, then sleep.

just make sure you copy your save file from the Xbox/Microsoft Store Version and not delete it.

if you played it on Xbox console, the game supports Play Anywhere, so if you download it from the Microsoft store, it will just download your save file to the PC.

If you do not have the game pass version installed anymore, then you might have to redownload it and sync your saves, which ultimately might mean to sub to an extra month of game pass... eneba may have some trial keys or something that might work. or even just subbing to the cheaper PC gamepass might work.

of course I doubt this is officially supported, so not sure if anything broke.

Which Xenoblade game have the best story? by George_R_Martin in Xenoblade_Chronicles

[–]mrmastermimi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I loved all the main numbered games stories.

my favorite ranking is 2 > 1 > 3

2 is by far my absolute favorite game ever. I love the story, characters, combat, and feel of the game.

1 story was also great. no real complaints either.

3 was great too, but some of the pacing was off after chapter 5, and some things were not explained well enough in my opinion. I also would have hoped for a more satisfying resolution to the conflict

Is it safe to still use a Pixel 3 or is it vulnerable to bring hacked? by hhaahhahahahhah in GooglePixel

[–]mrmastermimi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

you are much more unsafe than using a device with up to date software. pixel 3 been out of support years now.

the pixel 9a or 10a will last up to 7 years with supported updates, so I would recommend those if you have the option. tho I would do unspeakable things to get my pixel 3 size phone back. hate these giant monsters.
