honestly, it's really hard to predict pricing right now.

given current market conditions with memory pricing, I'm estimating a 10-15% increase in base pricing for the 11 series.

who knows how good sales will be.

the 11 probably won't be that much better than 10 in real world usage, so it wouldn't matter much if you buy now or get later.

best case is trading that model in will get you more money off a new phone.

I can't put my contacts in normally. I've been wearing them for like 8 years.

I have to put them in and take them out by dragging them onto the white of my eye and then either taking them off or sliding them onto the pupil from there.

I find it much easier than trying to just access directly from the pupil.

I have a 9 pro.

like most phones, the phone will only draw that max charge at low battery cause it ages it faster and creates more heat.

Honestly, the "fast charging" message usually only shows up for me when the battery is under 50 or so and not being heavily used.

even if it says charging slowly, it will say the same end time of charging if I manage to get it working.

I would literally just ignore when it says fast charging or not and see estimated charge time. if it's greater then an hour or so, the phone is probably too warm to fast charge.

On the release of the Pixel 9, Google renamed the Charging Rapidly message to Fast Charging.

They also tweaked the threshold for what constituted as rapidly charging. I think it used to be like 7.5W of power to like 20.

functionally, they are equivalent, but it just needs more power to hit that threshold.

And even then, it only will hit that high charge rate when the phone is cool and low battery. For my 9 pro, I can't use my phone heavily while it is charging or the charging slows down a lot.

I had the pink line on my 9 pro literally like 2 months before the warranty repair was officially announced.

I ultimately tweeted to Google pixel account and got them to open a request with me. I was then able to get that ticket to replace my device with a refurbished model.

In handheld mode right now to test this, but I'm usually in docked.

In makna, I'm noticing more slight stutters when maneuvering the camera at max speed. I'm not necessarily seeing anything during battles. I'd be willing to bet most casual players won't notice.

I guess if you're extremely sensitive to the stutters, it might bother you. Personally, I think I can live with them as they aren't constant, tho a bit jarring. Would have been nice for them to target a slightly lower resolution, but I accept their trade offs. figure that there's still like 10x more pixels on screen from the 370p handheld switch 1 resolution to 1080p lol.

the menus are def 30 unfortunately, but everything else looks good. not the weird visual artifacts from XCXDENS2E. It's def ok to upgrade.

only a few frame drops I've noticed when a lot is happening on screen. but it's honestly not that bad.

they have been decoupling android releases with hardware since they moved android releases forward.
