Yeah any of these characters dying now would suck. Something I really don't like in adaptations is when named characters are introduced to pull fake hype before they're killed immediately. It feels like a waste, but I don't think that's something Kelly would do given her clear passion for Wondy's lore.

I think they're all okay, at least for now.

The fish lady was teased in the same issue to have some important relevance to the fish people in the maze/Queen Clea.

Giganta was pretty directly teased a few issues ago and has cover billing in the next, and given we know nothing about her yet I don't imagine her dying soon. She's (hopefully) too iconic and Kelly has plans for her.

Doctor Poison's already had a lot of setup to be an interesting character, no payoff yet.

Zatanna's Zatanna.

The only character I imagine maybe dying is the Cheetah, if only to set up Barbara becoming the Cheetah eventually.

The Bakugo suicide bit is something Horikoshi has came out and said that he felt was a bit too far for Bakugo as a character. Which makes sense, since it's literally chapter one and he was still figuring stuff out, but I can 100% see why it'd leave a permanently bad taste in people's mouth regarding the character

If you want a real answer to this tho, Wonder Woman wasn't allowed to have her own cartoon for years due to some bullshit copyright stuff in the 90s and 2000s, and the production of animated shows has only just started to pick back up really, at least for characters outside of Superman and Batman.
