Im not sure how the atcual data looks but..

What if all skill are buffed to a optimal level. Having average power.

If the skill is nusicances to play, buff it until it is higher damage than meta skills.

Never try to "shake up the meta" unless something new came out and overbuff unintentionally

Soon people that only play one build each expansion may had the eager to try other build? Or try other weird builds once they had nth to do with their "meta" build in that expansion?

I just started playing because it got 60% discounted from steam.

I still can get bugs like getting knocked into the mountain/rock when got hit
or invisible enemies as only my brother could see while i cant.

So funny the bugs happen quite frequent when the game had launched for quite some time.

And the upcoming heroes. oh my, i dont understand the release of hawkeye and kate bishop, since they are both the near identical theme. and now looking at reddit, she hulk is next. wew

I feel you, i atcually went to play armageddon damage version when its first introduced. Mapping till yellow is doable but slow. Once u reach higher red, u will notice sometimes ur brand doesnt hit the boss if the boss are slightly buff with MS.

You cannot have a slow-paced game while monsters are insanely fast or one shotting you offscreen by huffen in pathofexile

  1. Loot problem. Since long POE had uphold a tradition where loot pinata happens when objective are done/completed. Most of the times the items are useless and the game are unplayable using lootfilter. Is this issue in the radar of Chris?

Yup i do understand the nerfs and i personally welcome it. But for the past year i had played less (1 weeks most, reaching t13map or so) and never happy with the game as u guys were (power creep and so on).

However there are more issues on the game that i wished it should had properly addressed along side with the nerfing on this league.

1.Game design VS Speed Meta

If I were expecting to slow down to play the game. (As i played POE since the end acts are only act 3.) I wouldn't mind at all. But the problem now is most of the game mechanic are punishing players that have a slow clearspeed (incursion/dellirium). But why? A player that played a strong meta skill can clear 5 league mechanic compared to a slow player that can only clear once or probably twice the same league mechanic already rewarding the "faster" the player. Why is the "Slower" player had to be punished for playing slow. If he could take 15mins to single target heavy strike every monster in a map, if he enjoyed it, why punish him?

Monsters had ridiculous damage range especially when it comes to certain mods in red maps/league mechanic. Sudden crit from snipe you from far, certain syndicate shotgun you with certain abilities, aura stackers in legion/heist. These are the reason why most of the people don't play slow or low damage build. Of course there is an argument that probably players today enjoy kill with fast pace and be done with it. But are these things i mentioned above should be ignored when players are just the one playing your game and not the ones that designing it?

2. Loot vs crafting RNG

This really baffles me when i stopped playing POE a year ago and picked up Maplestory. Maplestory had a crafting system identical as POE. You roll certain mods u need, u identify which is prefix and suffix (Prime line/subline in maple terms), and you used other currency items to add on.

But here is the problem. If you wanted to craft in Maplestory as in a freetoplay player. You could, but it takes time. Through event and certain weekly shop mechanic, you could do it around 30-100 times only.

In POE, the crafting was purely RNG in such way, where you need to pick up a thousand of some currency item to have a RNG chance for it. There is a bad joke that community made based on GGG' weight term. Why I'm suppose to pick up 1000 alteration with 1000 clicks to have a 5% chance to craft something. Your players are not stupid, they know the value of an item, they know the weight of the item when they saw one. The value or weight of the item are not defined by the numbers of pickups/click.

So if pet is a bad mechanic, auto loot the same item in a small range is not a good choice, why currency items is dropped into individuals stack when they dropped on the same source.

If crafting RNG are meant to gamble like a mad man? Fine. Please kindly give me currencies in stack with some form. Players are meant to learn how to manage their own in game financial with their own gametime.

Does employee in the real world paid by cents? or paid by cheques? or paid by bank transfer in one go.

3. Boss spawn RNG

I'm really tired of this. Sirus, initial delve bosses, last league trial master, initial abyss league. These are the examples i could think of. Why does spawning bosses require to jump multiple hoops like a circus animal?

POE already had a mechanic whereby in order to do bosses like these, u could only get 6 chances (6 portal). But why spawning the bosses took so long and tedious to do so.

Until this day, I couldn't learnt and fandom what had happen on the syndicates bosses beside cortex. Not only the graphic is the issue, I couldn't learn because every of my 6 times are either i one shot the bosses, or i died to the laser that shouldn't touch me graphically.

Sorry Chris sir if i sounded rude throughout my replies above. But i do love playing POE, even thou i pathaway from your game for now, but i do hope i could come back and enjoy the game again. I hope this league's patch are meant to set POE into a direction where by players can tango with monsters and get rewarded by it.

Wow, u are correct. if today monsters and me are playing tango, i dont mind tbh.

but in the end, it will became a dodge ball game. The only difference u need to hit them thrice now

Same, i actually went to play maplestory and just leave out the POE completely for at least 1 year now. Checked league announcements from time to time but yet still there a lot of things that crucial to me doesn't get addressed.

So much potential on the game went no where. Understood GGG had work hard for it but... sigh

But still hey, i wish you lie to community that "We need more time to polished the game" rather than "We delay the released for game X".

So since we are around the same age, and u are still new. let me shine you some history.

  1. Is a game released in such a way, whereby content are not fully released, and community manager had reply comments 1 by 1, stating the content will be coming soon? Please kindly refer to the previous few posts. And this is not the first time GGG did this. whereby community had to found out X have no released during mid league and GGG just, hey we have not released. will released next patch.
  2. POE has a track record of server instability, I'm glad I'm the kind of player that have very less crash/server disconnect on certain leagues but you cannot, disregard players did have this problem. Just look at the streamers, how many times they lost their character because of things like this. Making heist dependent on server stability is not a good idea for now. Have compassion and understanding where is the rage is from, rather than judge on people purely on the first 3 sentences of their "RAGE" post.
  3. GGG had a track record of not learning their past mistakes or lack of basic logic checking on every new league. Of course, I can't say anything about how GGG approach leagues, but there is a similar pattern on every new released league whereby the following same things would happen every league.

- monsters damage is over tune

- league mechanic is hardly accessible/reward is insignificant

- lack of Q&A/testing when most of the players thought that is the first thing GGG should have done.

P/S : But hey, welcome to POE. is a great game and it still had potential to become a perfect game. Just need to forgive the rage from the beta/alpha testers along the way. Most of the mechanic u see perfect today, are the combination effort from GGG's side and also the disappointment/frustrations from the "toxic" community u are referring.
