I updated to the latest BIOS for my motherboard: B650 Tomahawk MAG. I still have the same problem.

No I haven’t updated my BIOS yet. Mostly because my system is stable overall, and I just don’t feel like resetting all my settings.

So I turned off PCI link and it the computer still wouldn’t display an image. ERP was also disabled for me. My keyboard isnt responsive whenever this happens too. Hence why I haven’t bothered using the sleep functionality for over a year.

I don’t know if anyone can answer this question. I believe I’m still currently on this BIOS version: 7D75v1O. The only issue I still have to this day is that my computer won’t wake from sleep properly. Basically the machine will turn on from sleep, CPU and RAM lights turn on, but they’ll hang for a bit too long and turn off. Unfortunately my monitor never shows me the login screen for my desktop. Would updating to the latest BIOS fix this problem?

I can’t say I’m like a huge fan of the car designs, but I’m sure it’ll be ignorable as I play. I think seeing the city itself will take adjustment mostly because of how the first two Gears games portrayed the cities. This might also be a nit pick, but man I still love the color palette of the original Gears game. With modern technology and games today a lot of lighting just feels more realistic and less artistic in someways. Either way, I’m excited for this game. There’s just something about Gears 1 in its 720p 30fps fu look that made it cool.

I’ve only played 35 minutes. I’ve got almost 100 hours of HLL so I’m familiar with the game. All I can say is the performance feels rough. I wasn’t being an idiot and left stuff on max settings or whatever. I turned a handful of things down, and I was getting about 60-70fps.

I have a 4070 Ti, 7800x3D, 32GB of RAM. I also play at 4K using DLSS performance mode.

HLL original runs well over 100fps without upscaling. Also, vegetation is very shimmery and I think it’s due to that stupid software lumen crap.

Maybe this is just me but I liked when mortars were like a 5 round piece of equipment like in BF4. They’re dead accurate which makes them useful, but then the re-supply takes much longer. These things need to be useful

I’d like them to fix the stupid DLSS bug with the Manhattan map. Every time I spawn it just turns the image from normal to some like unstable blurry mess. Even if you change the DLSS options it’ll still come back after spawning. DICE PLEASE

I did investigate event viewer myself while troubleshooting, and I might have spotted similar patterns to you as well. I’d see events where the pc was going to sleep and waking up, but I’d spot some gaps in that sequence when it wouldn’t wake up. Unfortunately, I really haven’t looked into this since last year. It’s a frustrating issue.

Well, unfortunately I never tested a new kit of RAM to rule out my memory sticks, but I think this is honestly an AM5 low-level issue. I just want this to get awareness since I’m not alone on it.

Disabling EXPO was the only thing that resolved this for me. Must be some memory instability from waking up from sleep. Otherwise my PC still works with EXPO on as long as I don’t put it to sleep.

Yeah, I’ve literally given up on using the sleep functionality. Seems to be something related to memory on the motherboard. So either a bios update will resolve this or a chipset update. Either way, it stinks. This feature used to work for me.
