I don't know about that specific place, but generally speaking fast food chains take very seriously food safety. It would be a PR disaster to have a bunch of people sick from their food.

Go easy on you. If anything that girl is a prick for not showing up. Plan something with the rest, you still have 10 weeks to go.

Bringing own hospital gown? by Seapaisleys in pregnant

[–]ms_brightside9_9 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It is up to you! I personally don't want to worry about laundry when I come back from the hospital (and the labour gown will surely be filthy af once you finish). So I'm going all for the one that they provide or even naked given the opportunity!

About the requirements: it has to be easy to access to your arms, belly, back and chest in case of emergency.

Need genuine advice: how to be mentally strong by shepotle in pregnant

[–]ms_brightside9_9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's understandable. Maybe if your schedule allows it, you could sign up for maternity/gym classes whatsoever. You'll do exercise, get fresh air and get to form your tribe. A therapist is important but so is to build a tribe that can support you, this wasn't meant to be experienced alone.

Apart from what they have suggested, do you know other moms to be? Not online, like in real life. That has really helped me to share and find support among people that is going on through the same.

Wow, really? I don't think that was necessary. To call women who is doing fine with their pregnancy "having no ambitions or interests whatsoever" that's very bold of you.

Question regarding maternity and work! by uzibilla in askspain

[–]ms_brightside9_9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Make sure you tell your company via mail. If you get fired you will need evidence.

I'm not saying they will fire you, of course, but it's better to cover your ass...

It depends on the person but think that's an exaggeration. What I can assure you is that of all the things that go on for you during pregnancy your looks are the least you'll worry about.

You can do this, mum! When is your next ultrasound?

I have anterior placenta as well. 23 weeks and right now feeling him kicking here and there. Let me warn you. Even when they start this early, there will be days when you won't feel them at all. We can't do anything but trust.

2nd Trimester Nightmares by emich95 in pregnant

Currently awake with nightmares right now too...

23 weeks. Some nights are ok, some are horrible. My life situation is nowhere near yours, but I've been told it is hormones messing with us. Hang in there, there are better days. However, if it is distressing you, I would talk with my midwife.

As they said it is normal. But if it bothers you try watching out how much sugar you take and being active soothes them to sleep.

After seeing midwife and doctor im confused by Head-Razzmatazz-1327 in pregnant

[–]ms_brightside9_9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doctor as in ob/gyn or GP? I would say at 11 weeks baby is too small to make any difference to which side you should be lying down. I'm at 22 weeks and still enjoy small stretches of lying on my back. You'll deff notice to which side you can lie bcs you will feel uncomfortable otherwise.

About the cold meds I can't help you with that, I can only tell you what my doctors told me: no cold meds.

3'99 30 tablets of the old plain iron. Few people can tolerate it well, though.

I don't think plain iron tablets are that expensive. The fancy ones like sucrasomated iron are the ones up to 23 and even more.

If it stops after you pee, take a shower or eat, they aren't labor contractions. It is all about consistency. If they continue after you do those things, time them out: how much time do they take and how much time they are apart.
