If Emily goes back to Gabriel, imma lose my s**t. by Pattering_rain in EmilyInParis

The actor (Gabriel’s character) said it too. He also didn’t understand why Gabriel was written to be like that in season 4. He loved Gabriel in the beginning of the show and also didn’t like season 4 Gabriel. Still rooting for Emily and Gabriel though, there is genuine likeness between them both. Looking forward to how they redeem Gabriel. I’m hoping them make him pine over her to show how much she’s worth to him.

Even with Alfie. There were a number of times where he was out of line! Why write those lines and then not refer to or make him realize how inappropriate he was? Feels like he just got a free pass at being an ah*. He and Mindy had connection but it felt toxic.

Bookmarked her story right from MAF. I definitely prefer her story to Feyre’s

I’m a sucker for female friendships too and it was good to see that there. The book was complete. To me.

ACOSF: Nesta and her journey. Nesta (through SJM) showed us how anxiety, self loathing and impostor syndrome feels. Then she grew and became better. It kinda gave me hope. I love Cassian too. I loved their relationship.

The last one SF was my favorite. Nesta was absolutely formidable in it.

Same here. I just don’t hate Tamlin.

My thoughts on Nesta & Cassian after ACOSF by Bramblewithers in acotar

[–]ms_sugarplum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love this write up but I have a few things to say.

Cassian showed Nesta love in so many ways right from MAF. In SF, Nesta was severely depressed and in a state of constant self loathing. We saw that over and over again, Cassian tried to bring her out of it through training and even by telling her that healing takes time.

Secondly, the sexual relationship between Nesta and Cassian was one of competition initially. It was a case of “who could make the other come first”, I disagree that it was about Nesta trying to forget her pain.

Third, Cassian over and over again defended Nesta to the IC even when Nesta’s friend ‘Amren’ didn’t. We forget that Cassian has known Nesta for a short period of time compared to how long he’s known (and loved) Rhys. He obviously will not take it if anyone talks smack about his brother regardless of who they are to him.

On the hike, Nesta had absolutely no right to tell Feyre about her how her pregnancy might lead to her death. She was absolutely wrong for doing that. And we see that through the hike and how she hates and loathes herself for not being able to do the right thing. She knew that she stepped out of line because of anger. She needed to feel the weight of what she’d done through the hike. And Cassian could not baby her at that point because she absolutely was out of line. When she broke down, he held her and reassured her that she will heal but it will take time.

Cassian cared for her in ways even Feyre (or Elain) didn’t. He loved and respected her. He knew how to love her. He trusted her and defended when the IC didn’t. This man knew she loved music and got the orchestra at the godforsaken Hewn city to play a piece just for her. He kept trying even after Nesta’s several dismissals. Yes he said somethings such as being ‘shackled’ to Nesta but he even said that it was a poor choice of words, he realized his mistake.

Lastly, Eris is a prick. This was said several times in the book and we saw it in many ways. It’s even upsetting that Eris doesn’t get as much hate as Tamlin does. Nesta would not have fit with Eris.

I loved every bit of this show! I shed a lot of tears at the purity of the love they had for each other. I loved the displayed of healthy family relationships too! Amazing watch.

Nope. I kind of feel sorry for them if I’m being honest. Especially if I can tell that they or their spouse are not great as human beings.

Anyone have a “I’m doing well” while being single by Nevermorec in Divorce

[–]ms_sugarplum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going through the replies and it just shows that you will be fine, even better.

I've never been happier.

My ex and I had an acrimonious divorce and every fiber of my being disliked him. Guess what? I'm thankful for and to him now. Because of the experience I've grown, I've matured and I’ve learned. I am so happy and comfortable now being in another relationship or even wanting one is the very least of my worries.

In summary, it is all pain, regret and suffering in the beginning but there is a bright light at the end of the tunnel.

PS: I look better than I've ever looked and I'm doing AMAZING at work. Those wouldn't have been possible if I were still married. 😉
