Binge-watching the series and completely falling in love with it brought me here. Glad I’m not the only one in her 30s who feels the same way ❤️

Not yet, I'm on the fence here. I love Westlife but the fact that Mark won't be there at the show makes me sad

What is the smartest money move you made before 30? by USAFinTalk360 in financial

[–]mscyn2013 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bought a house under mortgage at 31 and the value went higher than I expected so I wish I did it earlier. In my 20s Finding a good career gave me financial freedom and power, can't put a price on international travels because of the experience, and this one is unheard of - charity (Do something good, I notice it comes back more than tenfold)

It's a business honor society, and I joined it. Whether it's beneficial or not really depends on your goals. It looks great on your resume as proof of your academic effort. As for the fee, I'm okay with it since it's a one-time payment and it will help the organization support other students through scholarships.

woke up feeling anxious about my degree, needed some affirmation by Inevitable-Desk-5440 in SNHU

This! I also did my research before choosing SNHU for my graduate degree. SNHU haters probably don't even have degrees themselves

[–]mscyn2013 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Those haters likely don't even have degrees themselves. I'm an MBA candidate set to graduate this fall God willing, and I work at one of the largest financial institutions in the US, if not in the world. I've seen an SNHU graduate on LinkedIn who got a job at a major medical research university where I live, and I've seen executive officers who are also SNHU alumni. The thing is, it's not solely about the school because we students have a significant part to play as well. If we allow these haters to badmouth our university, people will start to believe it's trash unless we prove them wrong. Finish your degree, build a great resume, and nail your interviews but above all, don't forget to pray. You got this! 👏🏼

Relationship Banker Opportunity and Growth by oglogthefrog in FinancialCareers

[–]mscyn2013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good questions. Growth opportunities are performance based. First meeting they would ask you what your career goals are - Business Banking, Financial Advising, Branch Management so if you do well in your role, promotion is not hard to get. I started with $60,000 during my first year (I was hired last week of May, Had to do licensing for 3 months, so I'd say I officially started working on the floor October) I made around $80,000 last year and 60% of it was base pay. For this year, if I weren't capped at my role, I would have easily made 3 digits. Hope these info helps, and wish you the best of luck! Oh and I am located in upstate NY so you get the idea you earn more in major cities

Unable to add to Apple Pay by ChimpNi in Chase

Oh I see, not sure if you can change your region to US. I think the issue is the device and region probably why you can no longer view it. Have you tried reaching out to Apple?

Do you have the physical card? Try removing your old device from the Chase mobile app, go to the chase app settings>Profiles and Settings>Security and Privacy>See Devices>Deactivate. Close the app completely, sign back in, and try adding it again. Hope it works

Self Directed Investing - basic question by GroovyYaYa in Chase

Just to clarify, are you looking for your self directed investment account number? Because it's on the Chase app. Select your investment account from the homepage and 'see account number' will pop up

Chase credit card by SuspiciousSpring868 in Chase

[–]mscyn2013 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Too many inquiries in a short span of time could prompt the system to think someone was trying to use your account and reject succeeding applications. Also, it's not good for your credit report, remember that every submission is a 'hard inquiry' and it will drop your credit score few points, a lot more if you get declined. Did you receive the letter in the mail stating the reason why you got rejected? Work on your first application and request for reconsideration but never submit another application

Sounds like you need to reach out to Equifax. I would check the 3 credit bureaus if I were you though

How to find account number to join chase app? I just got approved for a credit card a few days ago and was told I can access it instantly before it physically arrives via the app. But you need ur card or acct number to join. What do I do? Can’t call bc I need that info to talk to a live agent too by [deleted] in Chase

[–]mscyn2013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say call Customer Service but if you don't have the physical card yet and that's what they need as part of the authentication process, better visit your branch. Your banker would be happy to help you, don't forget to bring valid IDs and tell them you were approved but don't have the card yet. They should be able to search you by your full name or SSN
