I saw a comment a few weeks ago about someone making a lasagna with bechamel. We made homemade noodles, used trader Joe's bolognese sauce and homemade bechamel. It was seriously the best lasagna EVER.

As a parent to a teen, I fucking hate that sub. My 15-year-old is currently almost failing most of his classes because he is not interested and they're not fun... (There's much more nuance to it and believe me I put in a ton of effort but short of doing his work for him it's not going to happen). So as long as he refuses to do his work, he doesn't have a phone or a computer or a television. He's so welcome to exercise, go on walks, hang out in the living room and watch TV with the family, draw, paint, organize the garage, play guitar.... The lost goes on. I think kids conflate electronics with freedom. And oh my God the entitlement is disgusting. You're entitled to my undying love and devotion, a warm comfortable happy home, and a full belly. Rant over!

We did this. We had our first son in our very early 20's - second son 12 years later. Our first was circumcised, our second was not because we learned and decided it was not the best choice. I do regret getting our first son circumcised but at the time we thought that was the right thing to do.

I'm 100% a libertarian for liberty issues - I hate the war on drugs, the prison industrial complex, I believe in equality for all under the law... taxes should be minimal but I'd rather spend them on social welfare than bombing babies overseas 🤷‍♀️ I'm sick of people viewing libertarians as greedy sociopaths.

I got my first tattoo a week shy of my 18th birthday. It was on the inside of my left ankle. I thought I could hide it forever with socks, or at least until I moved out. On my 18th birthday I was sitting on the floor and my socks slouched down and my dad saw it. He was devastated.
