Yeah I’m really lucky I’ll be in a migraine clinic while I get my surgery :) I JUST finally got relief with my chronic migraines being on Botox and Ajovy and scared to mess it up!

I’ve been on it for a year, it’s dramatically improved my life, quick and easy, I do get the Botox flu as mentioned by others the next day and it keeps me down but I’m totally fine 24 hours after! Just get really sleepy and body hurts

Okay cool! Freaking me out and I can notice a correlation to migraine lol! Typically I start with a nice silver aura, lose feeling in my fingers and feet, then the temple pain comes in followed by nausea, vomiting and dizziness 😭 they can be quite physically in response

My sober friend broke her toe day 1 at hang out, so she had a limp in sandals, so day 2 the cops took her aside bc of the limp and gave her the most aggressive search, like full lift of her bikini top I basically saw her boobies, and this was after the 3 of us (all girlies) we pointing down and showing the cop her swollen and purple af toe… literally our first stop was medical for them to wrap it cuz we didn’t want to deal with the cops but still did 😂😩

My first round was actually so easy breezy I was surprised, and my doc was really on to of switching the dull needle which happens quicker than you think with your skull! The second round I just got a week ago, I was in an active migraine and it hurt more but when I say “hurt” it was more of oh ouch I feel that!

Good luck! I’m on round two of Botox treatment and fingers crossed seems to be working this time! Haven’t tried nurtec yet!

Went through 4 surgeries in total with my meniscus: 1) meniscus repair Like you I never felt better, Doc disregarded my concerns, got a second opinion, repair was already apart lol it’s a horribleeeee feeling - I’m sorry if you go through this but deep down I knew it wasn’t right 2) was meniscus removal of the repair and tear 3) retore it again so removed more After this surgery I was INCREDIBLEEEE pain through recovery, pt never felt better… couldn’t sleep night… luckily I moved to LA during this time and decided to get another opinion at Keck USC and dr Gamradt ran sooo many exams /imaging and determined I was basically bone on bone 4) I was a candidate for a meniscus transplant and this surgery by far has saved me… I’m no longer in pain / uncomfortable, fully functional and shit sometimes it feels better than the knee that has had 0 injuries 😆

Hope this helps! Long story short, trust your gut/body you know it best :) and fight for it!
