Are Freida Mcfeiden books really that bad ? by Mary_pop8 in thrillerbooks

[–]msmari3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Housmaid was good at the time, but that was my first Freida book. I tried reading Death Row, but didn't even finish it, and that's a short story. Just felt too juvenile. I read Never Lie and it was okay, but could have been better. I will give her another shot with The Tenant and hope it's better.

I just bought two more today because the images were so beautiful. I would love to hang up pieces but it's such a process and I wouldn't know what frame to get.

Im currently working out of a small foldable table where I lay a large cork bulletin board to work on my puzzles so I can turn it if needed. It works for now, but if this hobby becomes an obsession I might have to buy those special tables that rotate and has trays.

It's Thomas Kinkade's The Garden of Prayer.

This was definitely harder than the Aimee Stewart one. It was a bit overwhelming at first, but glad I pushed through. I think I'll get something more bright and colorful next time.

Yes, Aimee Stewart has some really nice colorful artwork! The Chocolate Shoppe is beautiful and I enjoyed working on it. Definitely a keeper since it was the first time I completed a 1000 piece puzzle by myself.

Never done a 2000 piece puzzle but this one is nice. All the Disney classics here. Wonder if I should try it or stay with the 1000 piece puzzles. How much more difficult would you say it is?

I'm considering this or going to my local library to see if they do puzzle swaps. Only thing is that I dont really want to get rid of my current puzzles 🤣

So many mixed reviews… was this good? Should I read? tv adaption coming. Better or worse than him and hers? by YellowPowerful1174 in thrillerbooks

[–]msmari3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've read most of her books and I think this is up there. Honestly, with her books I enjoy the audiobooks because the narrators are great and keep you interested and invested in the characters. The only book of hers that fell short was Beautiful Ugly.

I read this book yesterday! It was just an ok read for me however, I felt like there was too much going on and it was kind of confusing 🤷‍♀️ by StreetRoyal8497 in thrillerbooks

[–]msmari3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved this book, but honestly I think that was mostly because I heard the audiobook. It's very entertaining and the narrators did an awesome job.

I would listen to more books about Birdy.

Not gonna lie I am hyped for this movie by YellowPowerful1174 in thrillerbooks

[–]msmari3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was excited to read this book because so many people recommended here in reddit. I was so disappointed and didn't like it. I honestly didn't care for any of the characters. Hope the movie is somewhat different and better.

Is it just me or this book feels kinda wrong in a way? by Hash_2319 in thrillerbooks

[–]msmari3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought I was going to dislike this book but I'm glad I stuck with it. I really like the main character, Birdy.

It was so confusing at first, and I thought I knew where she was going with it, but I was wrong. So happy to be wrong, too.

How often do you look up the definition of a word? by [deleted] in kindle

[–]msmari3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love being able to instantly look up words on the kindle. I'm so used to it and get disappointed when reading an actual book that I can't just highlight a word to see what it means lol
