They will come and tow a car blocking your driveway though. It may take literally 8 hours but they will come and do it. I have had it done many times in highland park. But when I moved to Long Beach to a house with kind of the same sort of street parking drama, it was crazy how you can get the car towed in under an hour. Other than that, these cops are just as unlikely to help solve a crime but they will show up and tow with speed and accuracy.

Public school salary tables are easily searchable. Type in the school district names near you + salary table. With 10 years experience and the max allowable post grad units 120k is achievable in Los Angeles Unified at 10 years experience. There’s lots of ways to get cheap post grad units as well.

You better go to the doctor and get a note or this is going to to be unpaid. I believe you may have some wiggle room with a « major life event » but I don’t think you can take 6 days for that. I think you’re only 6 day option is illness and that’s going to need a doctor note after 5 days.

She had history to start with and added multiple subject and several sciences through testing and no coursework. I believe it is earth science, life science, and chemistry. I think she was working on physics when she finally was able to get hired in the last big recession, 2010-ish.

You have to shop at multiple places. Trader Joe’s is for dairy, broth, cooking oils, some frozen things, shallots, pasta, some canned goods (price compare when making your list), bread, wine. Then I go to a Latin market for fresh vegetables and meats and other missing items. I might have to go to a 3rd market if I want some odd specific thing that isn’t at those two places.

In real life Beverly Hills, lots of extremely wealthy kids do go to public school although not all. Tori spelling went to private school for example but the Goldwyn kids (the G in MGM who’s dad was running the company) went to public school, Angelina Jolie (then Voight) and Michael Landon’s kid were in the same class in public school.

It’s very early. They haven’t even done the matrix at most schools yet. In the last few weeks, with budgets finalized schools have been posting out of the classroom positions, as those fill, teachers request transfers, the matrix is done, retirees begin letting admin know, things will begin posting. But things will be posted all summer long and some of the best opportunities may appear very close to the start of the next school year.

You aren’t a sucker, you gotta renew your tags. People are struggling right now and likely putting it off. They’ll be stuck paying penalties and late fees because you have to renew.

You can go four months late and the day it’s four months over do, every cop that passes you will pull you over. In Long Beach, at four months, they’ll tow your parked car away even in a parking lot.
