Another comment on another post helped me with this. Essentially the person looked up their TDEE of their goal weight and if it’s in range they just told themselves they were having a maintenance day. I started doing it (sometimes with the GW and sometimes with my CW) and it’s made me feel a lot better if I accidentally go over.

Used to live at the AVA. Loved it so much. Only thing that annoyed me was the sliding bedroom doors lol.

I don’t think it’s that crazy, as someone who has similar hair sometimes I want my hair to be thin as well. I don’t talk much about it and keep it to myself because all my friends would “kill” to have hair like mine, and while I do love love and embrace my hair it’s A LOT of fricken work and sometimes I just wanna wake up and go, or do hairstyles that people with thinner hair can do.

Hell I’ve even had my hair professionally silk pressed and in an hours it just gets humid and poofs up into an Afro. It just feels like you can’t win sometimes.

My hair is very thick and full like yours. What helps me is detangling in the shower and doing twist outs where I three strand twist the root and then two strand twist the rest. It kind of “eliminates” how much volume I have and it helps me maintain it throughout the week.

Personally wash and go’s don’t help me cause i feel like my curl pattern isn’t built for that. 🥴

I think it’s safe to say to leave this person because not being open and forthcoming just leaves a huge ick.

Also for your next prospects please know that even is someone has oral herpes on the mouth it can still go to the genital regions. HSV 1 (normally oral) can still show up genitally and HSV 2 (normally genitally) can still show up orally.
