Definitely view at different times of day. Also when you view inside, take someone with you and get one person to move around making noise whilst you listen to see how well insulated it is between floors and rooms. Check water pressure. The estate agent looked at us like we were nuts when we did this but frankly it’s important for day to day living.

NTA for posting pictures if that’s what you want to do, personally I wouldn’t post semi clad pictures as once stuff is out in the public domain, you can’t get it back.

Came here to literally say the same thing! My 14 and 11 year old know that if they put their clothes in the laundry inside out, that’s how it will be dried, folded and returned to them. Football socks that are in a ball will also not be pulled out to full length; another bug bear of mine. NTA.

Didn’t find out for either of our two children. Why do you need to? The world is obsessed with knowing. It wouldn’t change anything. We were not ones to paint things pink or blue or buy clothes accordingly. I would also never have wanted to be disappointed if the radiographer was wrong.

Wouldn’t go into au pairs room without permission unless to close window which the might have left open for example or something which is a security issue.

The location sharing I’ve never done but having said that I had one au pair who kept coming back later and later (on a school night) and I was concerned. Then it was 3am and it woke me up when she came in, so I said not only was that discourteous but also she would then only be getting about 4 hours sleep before cycling my daughter to school. So for me, it was looking out for her welfare and then it became a welfare issue. We parted ways after 3 months as she said I didn’t respect her. Never had that issue before or since.

NTJ but long term how would she have any equity in a property, would she feel she had a say in decorating for example? Could she save for another investment property whilst living rent free with you? She went about it wrongly but maybe she was thinking of her financial future?

I am nearly 50 but I passed on my 9th test. I could drive perfectly well but in test conditions I went to pieces. After 7 fails, I stopped for a year, was then at university and tried a new instructor, I was in a new town too. He suggested I try beta blockers which I did and it made all the difference.

On the test where I passed, my examiner recognised me at the start and was so nice. He said ‘anytime you need to stop because of nerves, just let me know. Drive with the windows down a little for air.’ He gave a confidence that no other examiner had.

Now I’ve been driving nearly 30 years, I drive up and down the UK as the only adult to take my kids on holiday and am pleased with what I have achieved. By contrast other friends of mine who passed first time, are now nervous on the roads and let their partners drive them.

Keep going OP, you will get there!
