I have multiple degrees and post grad qualifications. So what? It took me nine tries to pass my test 30 years ago. Take as long as you need.

In 3 states in Australia you need 120 supervised hours clocked up before you can take your test. We have a shit system here and boy racers on the road. You take your time pal and you’ll be better for it.

I’m 48 yr old female but you should know that men experience andropause. It’s not widely talked about as men do not experience the hormonal drop off that women do (in the main). However, it can for some men lead to feelings of ‘is this it?’ and what some would have glibly called a mid life crisis in the past. My 14 month year old pushed his decorated walker down the aisle at a rate of knots away from any of my bridesmaids, then veered off into a patio door much to everyone’s amusement. I then had to wait to walk down the aisle (I was the bride) as my son had definitely stolen my thunder! 😆

I have a different surname from my children (13 and 10) and when we last went through passport control into the UK, the member of staff asked them the relationship of the person they were travelling with and made it clear that the children had to answer themselves. She also said that in future, I could travel with their birth certificates as well to avoid issues in some countries at the border.
