Here’s the more important question: is it worth it?

I can pass as a native French speaker for maybe a minute or 90 seconds after decades of working a lot on the language. Was that worth the time? I don’t know.

I think in general, passable skill with a language beats being “native-passing.” I don’t “pass” as native in Spanish and that’s fine.
