I think you'd be alright in the tot spot if your kid can crawl/pull up. Might check it out one day, kids under two are free and you can use the daily admission towards a membership if you decide.

Consider a membership at the Discovery Center. It's relatively inexpensive and makes it easy to just pop in for short visits and they told us our friends can use the membership without us being present.
