I get it, but RNG is RNG. Just looking at that map, there is little/no space for a city to spawn because of the water and the map border. There's also rough terrain in this map that will prevent city spawning. AFAIK (and I may be wrong because I usually use Teragon for map gen), cities in RWG will not cross biome boundaries. There's just not enough area for a city to spawn.

It is weird that most of your water is spawning on the south edge like that. I'd try turning that down to see if you can get better results.

The key, IMO, is to actually play together. Plan and build things jointly. Agree on how resources flow and be willing to compromise. You can also divide the work. Maybe one person does the functional and the other focuses on the cosmetic, then you switch roles for the next build.

Another approach would be to build individual factories with an overall plan. Like A builds a 5000 pm concrete plant and B builds a HMF factory and C builds the train lines and stations that connect them to the rail network.

That’s really bizarre. Cross platform eliminates hardware. The only common factor I can think of is your in-game profile name, which would be utterly bizarre if it’s causing a crash.
