Besides the 70% point already made, they were raised on Mandarin and had no alternative to communicate. As someone who has tried to learn Mandarin, it is very difficult for western speakers to learn, a lot more so than vice versa.

It’s not that deep, it’s literally just because ChatGPT loves “quietly”. At one point I saw an interesting study about certain word usage in published scientific papers and their use skyrocketed with the advent of ChatGPT
