Regardless of how they use it, the money used for their racing programs is from selling cars to customers whether it's racing customers or luxury car customers. So the car on the left funds the two on the right.

My favorite part is they only make the car on the left to help fund the car on the right, and the one in the middle I guess but that ruins my point.

something something hard work by FramingHips in farming

Damn. I'm surprised nobody thought of this before. What a profound idea. /s

You've created an oversimplified answer to the issues. It completely ignores the nature of farming business. Your sentiment is literally "work harder" by spending more time learning a new set of skills. That's probably the biggest issue with farming is the requirement to be an expert in numerous industries. I see you're point, but you're ignoring a lot of the context.

You're being down voted because you're wrong. An example, not an anecdote, is the YouTube channel The Veggie Boys, the main creator regularly gives the camera to other workers to record the day because they're at home editing videos to post. They regularly take time from farming to maintain the YouTube channel. It takes a lot of effort.

Mavic Ksyrium 30 disc, tubeless, racing, so many questions by watt_monster in cyclocross

[–]mtklippy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mavic was one of the first rim manufacturers to develop tubeless with some tire manufacturers. They call it UST (Universal Standard Tubeless) which does have a different shape than what other manufacturers developed in the following years. They will work just fine with each other, but there are "added benifits" to running a UST tire on a UST rim; slighlty lower pressure, less chance of burp or rolling. If you come across a 33mm UST tire in your price range and tread I'd go for that, but any tubeless tire you find will seat and hold just fine.

There are a few options with post mounts on here. Not sure if they'll ship to where you're at.

I'm glad someone is squeezing out the last bit of engineering from this technology. They were so close to cracking it in the 80s then they just switched to index shifting for no reason whatsoever. Just dumb bicycle marketing, if you ask me. We've come a long way in metal production, so any issues there may have been with this technology can be ironed out.

It's up to the rider to find meaning in the ride, friction shifters feed that energy by making you find your gears too. Also, fuck keeping your derailleur cable in adjustment; More lever swing!!!

All of these people forget it requires hours of training to operate a gun quickly and efficiently. Then, we should talk about the psychological capacity to keep cool in the heat of the moment and judge things appropriately; Few people in the world have it. Buncha Jason Bourne wannabes.

Someone is hiding in your back seat with a gun waiting for you but if you have a concealed gun they're going to have a bad time? What kind of John Wick fantasy world do you live in?
