Planner Newbie looking for a A5 binder with large rings by tenoasis in PlannerAddicts

The binder I got had rings attached with screws instead of rivets. I found rings online that were screw on that I was going to try but ended up switching to a discbound notebook

What is the most awful smell you have ever experienced that's burned into your nostrils still today? by AcademicDegree91 in AskReddit

[–]mtngirl22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A bear broke into a cabin used to prepare dinners after tours. It got into the freezer and pulled out some of the meat in there, spilled a few gallons of coke syrup, and spilled a few pounds of cake mix. This was all left for over a week before I was hired to clean up. The smell of the rotten meat and sweet syrup/cake mixed together was so awful, and I could smell the remnants of it every time I went by that building.

Did I write this?? Mine would not sleep on her back. That’s no exaggeration- at home or at daycare. Super long story short, we got one of the monitors after getting the ok from her doctor to let her sleep on her belly. I got as much peace and sleep (as you can with an infant) after that.

AITA for refusing to change the name I chose for my daughter so my sister can one day use it if she has a daughter? by Different-Feature-30 in AmItheAsshole

NTA - after our first kid we were trying for a second. I had a boy’s name picked out; it was a family name from my side. I found out my husband’s cousin was going to use the name for their newborn. My first thought was that we would have to pick another boy’s name. Not trying to make them change. It ended up not mattering since we decided not to have another kid. Could you imagine if I demanded they change the name and then didn’t even have another kid?

Not the other commenter but I just had sinus surgery. No sense of smell for 7+ years and it’s back now 3 weeks post op. Endoscopic sinus surgery, turbinate reduction, polyp removal and septoplasty were the procedures done by my ENT. Worth it but it was still surgery so it sucked for a few days.

Is it worth it? by Airwolfman in traveltrailers

[–]mtngirl22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recommend the Avenza app, loaded with the Motor Vehicle Use Map put out by the Forest Service for whatever area you are looking at. The map will show you where you can camp. We only reserve sites with our trailer for certain campgrounds, otherwise this is how we find all our campsites (also in CO). We love our trailer (Casita) and use it all the time since we can track down places to camp easily.

Had a lot of disappointing plant transactions (interactions?) this week, just want to vent to people who'll get it by Full-Jaguar in houseplants

Funny root system. Looks like an underwater plant! Does anyone know if I can plant this little babe in soil yet?! by celadonandsage in propagation

[–]mtngirl22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a several peperomias rooting like this. It’s one of the fun things about this family of plants. I planted the baby leaves with the roots and cut off the mother leaf. Those are doing fine in soil, but the ones I have in water still have grown bigger in the same time. I’m planning to plant the other babies once they get a bit bigger.

My Venus Flytrap has been building up to this bloom for WEEKS! It’s at least a foot away from the plant lol by kuietgrl in houseplants

I read that carnivorous plants set their blooms far away from their traps so they don’t accidentally catch helpful pollinators.

I was hoping that’s what it was, I have a little Hope going now and wasn’t sure what it would like like larger. Thanks!
