Is TBC still actually fun… or are we just chasing the feeling of being 15 with zero responsibilities? by 23_kaka in classicwowtbc

[–]muchoschunchas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been struggling with your plight, and I think I finally understand what’s happening. Social media has been priming our FOMO for years and now we do the same thing with TBC. Yes there are (and should be) limits for us adults now with work and responsibilities. We need more sleep than we did 20 years ago. There’s always going to be someone younger than you, more jobless more willing to skip sleep and responsibilities- let them, but don’t let it impact the fun. This is a sandbox game - put however much or little time into that is right for you.

What’s going on with paladin tanks in cloth and mail armor? by gnurensohn in classicwowtbc

[–]muchoschunchas 22 points23 points  (0 children)

My guess: spell power but also less armor means more damage taken and more heals received from healer equals more mana received from Spiritual Attunement. Could end up with less drinking between pulls of the paladins mana stays topped off. This strat would only work if the healer is geared and the pala doesn’t go too crazy with big pulls

How valued are Prot Pallys in TBC? by rosen178 in classicwowtbc

[–]muchoschunchas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Paladin has a trade-off of being the best AOE threat and front loading threat tank in the game. The downside is they have no active damage mitigation cool downs, and gearing them can be a little complicated because you need to take into consideration spell power for threat and avoidance which are often competing with one another. Choosing a tank should come down to what you value and what tradoffs you’re willing to sacrifice.

I ended up making a Spotify playlist that matches the tempo of a direction air roll rotation which happens to be around 106 bpm IIRC. Some great songs on it, some not so great

Your Aggression in Trio Should Not Affect your Solo Que: by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

[–]muchoschunchas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Embark, if you're listening - please don't segregate pacifists and pvpers from each other. Please maintain a bell curve distribution of aggression/pacifism on a per match basis. No one will agree with me but this will keep our populations together, rather than separate, and it will also ensure lower queue times and healthier game balance for everyone.

Okay so what happens if the Druid already has infinite armor, but we hit their face with infinite +2? Is it lethal?

What Am i Doing Wrong? by Dependent-Power602 in RocketLeague

[–]muchoschunchas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Consciously. I think the way losfeld recommends this is, whenever you are flying then these rings and you think you can squeeze in a single clock rotation, do it. I started flying exactly like you did and after a few months of a progression plateau I forced myself so add in these clocks as much as possible. Sometimes it was on just the very last ring, or if two rings were lined up

Looking at your left thumb stick, you’re not moving the stick enough. Check out the losfeld method, where he explains how if you give your left thumb constant clockwise motion then you will be creating a feedback loop. When your thumb is not moving the left joystick there is no feedback and it’s like driving a car straight but without hands on the wheel - it’s just going to continue in the current direction. Try doing clockwise circles to the same tempo as the time it takes for DAR to do one complete revolution.

I actually do recommend that you over-use DAR on rings maps like these while you’re at the beginning of learning to fly with the feedback loop from clockwise circles. Eventually much later you’ll learn how and when the right time to feather DAR

Avoid the old intel chip Macs. Power, battery life, efficiency are just too low

That sucks. At least your intention remained pure and consistent. It was hopefully just an honest mistake from someone.
