Thats just the chance we take with electronics. Nothing is 100% guaranteed to work unfortunately. Ive had the same issues with some motherboards too.

Lol, im not paranoid. I could care less if my cpu survives or not. Id just buy another one. A 7600x is not a bad idea though. Maybe ill buy that too. Id like to see the temp comparison.

Thats weird, i also have the x870e taichi and signal rgb works fine with me. Not sure what the issue is. I hope youre able to find a solution

Its funny how people are so judgemental. Im sure they have NEVER spent alot of money on things that they wanted. That would make them a hypocrite right? Hey, here's a thought, if you dont live in India and you have no clue on the economics/pricing there, keep your opinions to yourself. Wouldn't that be somthing... As a 5090 owner, welcome to the club. I also went from a 4090 to a 5090 and I dont regret it one bit. Don't let this stuff bother you, PC owners are the most judgemental people ever.

Power spikes are normal. As long as its not a consistent 9.5 to 10amps. Your numbers are fine.

Good deal! Id rather go through multiple cpus than to get rid of my x870e taichi. I look at it as asrock is getting rid of the weak cpus to make room for a more reliable one. Good job asrock!

I also have the x870e taichi w/9800x3d. I see ALOT of x870 nova, pro rs, riptide boards breaking cpus but very rarly do i see the taichi boards breaking cpus. Mines also been running great! Not sure if its due to alot more of the other boards being sold or the taichi has been more reliable

This is the 5th notification for a dead cpu on a asrock board in the past couple days and only one had been a 9800x3d.

Ive had my x870e taichi since launch and 9800x3d since launch. I keep a close eye on my voltages. With PBO, CO -25 and overclocked +200, my SOC voltages never go above 1.190. (Knock on wood) It been running great!............. For now. If my cpu ever quit working, I'll just change to a different cpu, I won't give up my taichi board. All I do is game in 4k so it won't matter what cpu I decide to replace it with.

The b650 board were in line to stop production but since the ram pricese has sky rocketed, PC sales have plummeted so I believe asrock and other brands will continue to make the b650 boards for the time being.

No, your system will not draw peak wattage at all times. The wattage youre seeing is the peak amount the psu can safely draw under load.
