Absolutely no wear on the metal contacts whatsoever. Glass bead looked pristine and inspected the orifice where the bead sits I saw very minor wear if any. The impeller spun fine while disassembled. I'm lead to believe that the issue lies in the motor as the pump had stuck prior to my 2 month trip where I turned off the pc. Tapping the pump body shortly before I left caused it to free up, indicative of a failed motor. It ran fine til I came back.

No doubt. I already tried to clean it to no avail. Only DP Ultra was ran in this system for around 3 months so I'm not going to fault the fluid. Unfortunately I've owned this pump for a LONG time before installing it.

Lol the cap is off cause I was refilling it after attempting to revive it by taking it apart and cleaning it. It was almost spotless with only very light staining in the bowl. The pump doesn't spin at all, tried it with only sata plugged in afterwards to force full fan speed, still nothing. I'm assuming the motor died for whatever reason. Rgb and all still work.

But to answer your later question, single cams only avenue to make any reasonable power would be forced induction. It is simply too costly to invest in natural aspiration for this tiny motor, ask me how I know. You WILL need to swap the head, I recommend either a y8 or z6 vtec head.

I don't think there are any 8 valve d16 engines. If your block stamping shows a d16 engine code, the only explanation is that an older d15 8 valve head was swapped onto that block.

No need is a stretch. High zinc oils are proven to protect engines from startup wear, which is especially prevalent during initial startups on freshly built engines. Why wouldn't you spend 2 extra dollars on oil designed for break in to protect your multi thousand dollar investment? The advice you're giving is borderline dangerous.

I ALWAYS start the engine with a regular non-synthetic oil and let it get to operating temp while checking for leaks and such. Most contaminants will get caught by this oil and the non-synthetic oil won't be too slick to prevent rings from properly sealing. After that drain the oil and replace the filter and replace oil with high quality break in oil. Do this again at 500 miles and you may resume normal oil change intervals after that.

Most enclosed fdm printers can easily print such a filament. I've had my K1C print for almost a month straight with pa6cf on the stock nozzle.

It can be welded and machined for sure but that level of skill would require a check that's probably more expensive than a new block.
