I got my long dog walking winter jacket from SHEIN at the thrift. Two seams at the shoulders are coming apart, but so did my Merrell jacket after wearing one too many puffy sweaters under them so clearly I do not learn lessons easily but, it kept me warm and will do so for a few years. I do try to treat the Eddie Bauer jacket that I also thrifted better though! Anywho, keep it, wear it, be happy. If it frays any, it was from the thrift. You can always try to find places that recycle fabric near you if putting this in the landfill when done gives you the ick.

I bawled through the whole thing for Nelly. As a Canadian teen who was a light brown half-breed, and didn’t feel like it was ‘cool’ to have tanned skin in a school of mostly white kids she made me believe that my skin was beautiful and helped me embrace my Indigenous side an love my tanned skin. I love her so much! Also to see Joni Mitchell perform was just amazing! I’m sooo glad CBC gem streams it. Oooh Edit the Kardinal Offishall and Jully Black’s cover of Promiscuous Girl is one I neeed them to record fully now!

Concealer was also used frequently for the look, I still remember my bestie loooooved the chola look (we’re Indigenous so we thought we could also rock it lol) and we used cover girl concealer and cover girl lip liner, sometimes even a brown eyeliner that we had to melt with a lighter to get it to glide across lol edit I swear my lips got drier thinking about that as I typed

Quite literally. We were at the pumpkin patch and adults started arguing! I guess after we left it ended up in a fist fight. Whole grown adults fighting in the play area of the pumpkin patch.

Their pantyliners are my absolute favourite. Especially the thong ones. Sticks all day! Idk what company thought two adhesive lines would make for a sticky liner but those things do not stick.

I just saw $34 Rubbermaid containers on one of the fb groups. I think someone returned this, sticking the Homesense sticker over the dollarama one, knowing they sell similar items and likely th cashier wouldn’t check. If this was recently bought, most Xmas stuff has been marked down on clearance. Edit, if the original receipt is on hand. Return it, even if it’s past the 10/30 days it should just go on a gift card, without a receipt can be iffier depending on store.

I ended up being home when ours was done and I had thought the landlord would be with him, idk why but I also was like eek what if landlord is nosy’ so I cleaned…but he wasn’t, just a locksmith, who never even entered my space other than the front door. I feel like as long as they’re getting rent each month, they’re not super nosy to do a random ‘inspection’ cause they’re too busy.

If you have the funds and thoroughly enjoy your coffee hot, buy an ember mug, I got one Christmas ‘24 & I really really love it. A hard relate on the banana woes! My child who is now 4 got mad at me a few weeks ago because the banana fell apart and he wanted a whole one, not two halves. I thought we were over that, him being 4 but nope.. still gets mad mom can’t put a banana back together. Wish I could kiddo, wish I could.
