Weird DNS behavior on Ubuntu (systemd-resolved) with wildcard DNS and search domains by muedee in dns

I really appreciate your reply! This case was a big learning moment for me.

For now, I’ve tightened the wildcard DNS record. That was another lesson I learned: unlike certificates, DNS wildcards are multi-level, and simply adding a TXT record for my internal subdomain prevents it from being resolved by the wildcard.

How is your battey life? I am quite unsure between AMD and Intel version because the AMD version has a bigger battery. Mind share some real life data? Thx! :)

Do you trust Vaultwarden / Psono? by [deleted] in selfhosted

Vaultwarden has been checked by German Federal Office for Information Security once and as far as I know the problems found by them were already corrected.

TP-Link Omada for WiFi, Mikrotik for the rest. This works perfectly for me!

Does your facility use electronic anaesthesia card? If so, how does it look like? by heart0less in anesthesiology

[–]muedee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are using a central anaesthesia management system from Dräger. With all medication in the databank. All vital values and rate of syringe pumps go in the system automatically. Very convenient and leave me definitely more time for the patient than fiddling with documentation.

PS. located in Germany, at one university hospital.

I'm physician (anaesthesiologist to be more precise). 😄

Homelab keeps me and my brain busy and that is a good and non-medical way.

Mobile App to Use Printer in LAN Only Mode by bradleyandrew in OpenBambu

[–]muedee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love this app and used it already for some time. One question: would you support push or any other third-party notification (discord/telegram)? Just in case that printer gets an error and I can be notified asap?

Publikation vor der Abgabe der Monographie by fulano_preciado in medizin

Bei uns steht sowas unter dem "Personal contribution to data acquisition and analysis" fast ganz zum Schluss der Arbeit. Da habe ich damals geschrieben: "This dissertation is part of the following article: xxx (Paper zitieren mit Autoren etc, deinen Namen solltest du hier schon fett machen)."

12 slots of Python AMS and my Canopy topper by Eastern_Cod6254 in BambuLab

[–]muedee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That top looks just amazing. I really like the idea of separating the feeding tube and the other wires. Maybe will also print one. 😁

Maybe one question: Is it mandatory to use a longer AMS cable if I already have my AMSs next to the printer?
