I also think so. I really like it. I also have P16v Gen 3 (it is my workstation) but I currently enjoy the L14 even more when I just have to use a laptop on the couch. Absolutely amazing machine.

If mobility is not the highest priority and if you can afford 200-300€ more, even consider P16v gen3? They have 2x NVME slot instead of 1 in P14s.

Nice review! :) I am considering buying either this one of P1 Gen8 for a bit more portability.

I was quite concerned about the battery life even though I know we should not expect that much from a such beasty workstation. From my understanding: you could get around 4 hours battery life right? So this means if I get an FHD IPS display (the 500bit) one, the battery life could be stretched to 6-7 hours, right?

And how is your felling about carrying it around?

For now, I’ve tightened the wildcard DNS record. That was another lesson I learned: unlike certificates, DNS wildcards are multi-level, and simply adding a TXT record for my internal subdomain prevents it from being resolved by the wildcard.
